I just find it comical that some believe Eastern, who averaged only a few points per game and hardly any minutes, is going to step in and dominate. But in the same breath, turn around and doubt that Fitzner will be able to do anything. You literally can’t make this stuff up. Puuuuuuure gold.

Here’s a hint: it’s the free board. Why you continue to post stuff from there is beyond me. I could find some equally idiotic things from the IU free board and post them here but I know it’s not representative of the majority of the fanbase so I just laugh at it and move on. There have been some pretty good ones on the free board about football about Purdue and Brohm that gave me a good chuckle.

It is pretty clear that Snu is obsessed with Purdue which is strange given how confident he is that IU will be better this year. Shouldn't he be obsessed with Michigan and MSU?

Not excusing the disappointing tournament results over the years, because at some point he needs to have a breakthrough; but I think it's worth keeping in mind that in only three of his 10 tournament appearances at Purdue has he lost as the lower (better) seed - last year against No. 3 Texas Tech, in 2016 against ALR, and in 2011 against VCU).

I am not sure that stat is all that glowing. That can go negative in a couple of ways.

I'm seriously not trying to have an argument here, but what was hyperbolic about his comment? He was laughing at the posts made over there by Purdue fans. I seriously don't understand why that's such a big deal that he did it? If you find a IU fan starting a ridiculous thread and then multiple people jump in with the cheerleading....please bring it over here and make fun of it. To me the worst Painter losses in the tournament have been to:

Kansas in the 2nd round with a 5th year Robbie. Had that game in the bag and literally choked it away.

Cincinatti in the first round: see above, choked it away.

Arkansas Little Rock: no explaination needed

I could live with the rest of them. Sure technically shouldn’t have gotten beat by VCU with Etwaun and Jajuan but they took everyone they played by storm that year in the tournament.

The Kansas blowout 2 years ago sucked but they were the better team and caught fire and then the next game they couldn’t throw it in the ocean against Oregon so water found its level.

Couple classic lines I’ve read, Eastern is the best defender in the B10 if not the country. Purdue has three NBA players on the roster. Romeo Langford shouldn’t be considered in the eight best players between the two rosters. I mean, literally can’t make this stupid shit up.

Treed is outspoken, and I can certainly understanding her giving props to her son. But then she goes off on these tangents about how hard Nojel and his teammates are working and improving, and it's like she is seeing PU in a vacuum. Never mind the fact hat virtually every team in the country is working hard and concentrating on making themselves better.

It's like there is no perspective for the reality that there are undoubtedly teams in the B1G.working just as hard (or harder) and some of them bring much more talent to the table.I mean we can start with the teams that have been to a FF4 in this Century, much less within the last 20 yrs of the previous one...

Well one of those posters he listed is coming here and tagging SNU and I (proudopete) and another poster her (pig1960) is doubling down with pete. At the point it's not just the free board anymore and calling out pete's stupid posts anywhere is cool.
