The media day stuff has me anxious for basketball to start. I love football (and think Purdue can win the west) but basketball is my first love. Looking forward to my squad breaking my heart again.

His ceiling is way higher, that’s for sure.
We’ll learn a ton about TWill this season. He made some big, winning plays down the stretch last season but had a lot of ups and downs. He could take the next step and be a really good college player… or he could end up just being a guy.
Thing with Twill for me is his form does not match his percentages lol. I just do not see a 38% three point shooter when he shoots. Hope I’m wrong!

So Braden Smith is getting quite a bit of hype among coaches and randoms that have attended practice. It'd be interesting to see Purdue basketball with, oh you know, an actual point guard for like the first time since Lewis Jackson.
FYI He also absolutely nails the Indiana high school jock look. It's almost weird to see him in a Purdue jersey instead of wearing a HS letterman jacket and driving a 90s Pontiac Firebird.

I’d expect a better argument for Illinois ranking not to count due to us beating Iowa and other “B1G buddies”
Especially considering our SOS is 28th currently, while Michigan’s is 112th😂
Carson Cooper , the lowest rated recruit we’ve taken in a very long time and a guy who was projected to redshirt, now almost certainly will not. Apparently he’s looked a lot better than the coaches suspected and it will be him/Kohler backing up Sissoko. He’s a got a smoother athleticism and moves the floor better than our main 2, but definitely is raw. Offensively not sure how much we can expect at this point.
