I've been working, been checking the score when I can, fvcking Hoosiers. the game is over and I'm going to start drinking heavily. 1 more and it's a wrap, though.
I think we are in. Was a 9 seed going into tonight. That's solidly in. I know Lunardi had us as last Four In. So, really who knows. I just think after tonight, Hoosiers are in.
It’s causation for a different reason: RPI.
The RPI pretty much hammered teams that didn’t win on the road. Our resume is : 32 NET, 27 kenpom, 27 Bart and 50 RPI. See what I mean.
When the NCAA went from W-L record/eye test to RPI you would hear “no 14 loss team has ever gotten a bid”. But the measurement changed and RPI cared less about W/L record and eye test than it did in what it perceived as quality wins.
RPI as a measurement tool didn’t like teams that didn’t win on the road so their RPI rank was low and the committee kept those teams out. I see that as causation. Today’s NET has a different lens. I think we are in. One more win wouldn’t hurt though.

Not sure why iowa fans get triggered so much when Wisconsin is good. I’m totally cool when we’re good and Minnesota is bad. Iowa wins B1G. UMD wins B1G. Makes no difference to me.
Well to be fair, had you not lost to Purdue twice, by 400 points......Winking
Yeah I just don't want to lose the next one and then drop the wed game in the big ten tourney then be outside looking in. Probably enough, but I think one more win leaves no doubt, whether it's this weekend or in the big ten tourney.
