Don’t think dumpster fire is an accurate term. 4-6 with the injuries they’ve had is far from a dumpster fire. Dumpster fire would be 1 or 2 wins. Is it the season we had hoped for? Obviously not. But wasn’t a dumpster fire either.
Just tired of the trolling. I like to discuss sports and sometimes with opposing fans.
Scorching hot takes tonight from the peanut gallery. For the record:
Purdue 3pt%: 33.9
Indiana 3pt%: 34.8
Honestly, I would have been ok with your poke but we all know what that post would lead to. Snu never misses an opportunity to take this thread down the rabbit hole.Obnoxious trolling yes, I was just poking a little bit. Purdue’s numbers will definitely improve and if I had to bet would say they’ll end up with a higher % but I wouldn’t put a ton on it. Think it’ll be closer than some think although Purdue will most likely have more attempts, just the difference in the two offensive philosophies.

FTR thru three games...
Purdue SOS 56
IU SOS 333
Yikes!
It’s a dumpster fire compared to expectations, regardless of injuries. It’s not like the entire offense or defense got injured. Every team goes through injuries.

Most Purdue fans didn’t give that opinion on IU’s basketball season until Purdue football shit the bed.Agree to disagree. That’d be like me saying IU basketball was a dumpster fire last year. They had injuries and lost games they shouldn’t have. Was it a disappointing season? Of course. But it wasn’t a dumpster fire IMO.

Who’s taking victory laps? One would think people would learn to wait to take victory laps until closer to season’s end.
So the two most talked about subjects this season are going to be Teske versus Garza - and Indiana versus Purdue's 3-point shooting? Mercy.

Well hell, these 2 posts of yours alone make it seem like the rest of the season has already been determined.Who’s taking victory laps?
I just like that it’s pretty clear this team won’t be as good from deep this year.
After the dumpster fire of a football season and now reality is setting in for the basketball team, it’s pretty fun to think back to all the shit Purdue posters were talking about football and basketball. LOL. So much fun.
But, but, but......ah never mind. Doesn’t matter what they told us all offseason.
One would think people would learn to wait to take victory laps until closer to season’s end.
I may have overrated this Purdue team going into the season, but they tend to hit their stride in January/February.
Well your football team is a dumpster fire and you’ve lost two of three in basketball all while not shooting it real well from deep (through this point). It’s pretty easy, and fair, to say things haven’t gone as planned based on all the chest thumping and shit talking during the offseasons.Well hell, these 2 posts of yours alone make it seem like the rest of the season has already been determined.
The one guy I was expecting it to be, Wheeler, hasn’t found his stride yet. Honestly, I think they need to feed Haarms as much as possible. He looks like the most consistent thing they have right now. They need a goto guy to emerge. They have a handful of guys that could. Edwards and Cline pulled them out of a lot of games last year.
I said the same thing last night. I feel like Haarms has been floating around the perimeter too much. Purdue needs to put him in the low post more and have him pass out if double teamed. The one guy I was expecting it to be, Wheeler, hasn’t found his stride yet. Trevion has probably disappointed me the most thus far. Wheeler isn't shooting well but he's playing a solid floor game. Williams has struggled on D and doesn't seem assured of himself when catching the ball on the low block.

prove it. give the date stamp and/or article. That picture was from 2017 RollLaugh
You forgot Iowa’s recruiting class...because Gil.
I'd chalk it up to life after Carsen. Guys having to carve out different roles than they've previously had. CMP having to figure the team out and best way to attack offensively. Haven't watched much but Eastern needs to get his ass to the rim as much as possible IMO.

I don't know why, but he has an aversion to going up strong. He's built like a tight end and loves to throw little finesse shots up there.I'd chalk it up to life after Carsen.
