Texas would beat Villanova head to head. Villanova got destroyed at home by UM and then lost to Furman at home. Texas beat UNC on a neutral court and beat Arkansas at home.

I don’t trust most metrics early. Late season I’ll give it to you, but not 5/6 games in.

Texas is a better basketball team than Villanova.

So you agree that my predictions have proved to be pretty rational? Okay.

My comments were never that Purdue can't or won't be good. They were almost entirely focused on Purdue's history of not making it past the Sweet 16 and then some brags that Michigan would be better this year, too. That wasn't (and still isn't) crazy. Michigan returned 3 of 5 starters from a team that made the National Championship game and brought in a three top 100 recruits.
