Using conference stats is cherry-picking? Lol. I think that's a pretty good period to use.
Of course you would.

Counting draft picks is a really flawed effort if trying to evaluate talent development. Guys like Miles Bridges and Jaren Jackson were being drafted whether they went to MSU or Drexel.
He's taken 4 3's lol. Not sure why you keep harping on that. He knows he's not a good outside shooter so he rarely shoots 3's. He was more efficient than RP on offense this year. Now that could change moving forward but based on what we saw this year alone, Eastern was the better overall player. Not sure how it can be debated honestly.
I've been told on more than one occasion on here that conference stats are much better to reference than overall stats. @hailtoyourvictor?
What did I type that was wrong?
You call it flawed. Recruits call it development. What did I type that was wrong?
Both of my points are true. They’re pgs, one had better assist/turnover numbers with fewer minutes. As you said not even close.
It's not close if you only focus on those two areas. If you look at the overall picture, Eastern was better.
Of course you would.
Saying using conference stats only is cherry picking may be the dumbest argument I’ve seen in a long time.
Again they're PGs. Those should be the main focus.
You're right. A 20 game sample isn't a good measuring stick.
Lol. Rebounds are still a main focus regardless of position.
Then wouldn't that be a knock on a player? Hes a PG with fewer assists and more turnovers, how is that efficient?

Haarms has zero chance at the NBA as well. Europe is a possibility for both.
He rebounds at a higher level and can guard 1-4 positions.
Not nearly as laughable as you thinking 20 games is cherry picking.
Not when one team is playing a sub-200 non-con schedule and the other is playing a top-75 non-con schedule.Wouldn't a 30 game sample be better?

Tell you what. What has he shown that leads you to believe he’s actually (realistically) has a shot at getting drafted? Don’t be a homer.Another fantastic take. Elaborate if you don't mind.
You've been on your game these past few days. I was able to sniff out the Carsen tripping bait, but this one triggered me a bit. Game recognize game.Took you all long enough. Should have known it would have been you.

You're the one that made the claim. Back it up and then I'll tell you why I think he has a shot.
Really? Again, Painters record over that 5 years is better. Only difference is NCAA successes. Outside of the NCAA, I wouldn't trade them. Over that 5 year span, Painter has 2 B10 championships with a 75% win record. Beilein has no championships and a 61% win record over that time. Yet you'll take Beilein's record over Painters? This is 100% to do with the NCAA tournament. Why can't you just admit that?So five years is all that matters??? Lol. Don’t be dumb.
Here’s a question. Would you trade Beilein’s record over the last five years for Painter’s? I know i would.
Nojels last two stat lines:Took you all long enough. Should have known it would have been you. Will say conference games were when he was playing at less than 100%. I still firmly believe at this moment Phinisee is playing better than Nojel at running his team. Maybe they have different roles but being a PG Phinisee is doing more at this moment in time.
Yes, I agree. That's his biggest crux, but SNU can't seem to come to grips with that.Painter needs more post season success. He’s a solid coach and he does well with what he has but Sweet 16’s aren’t going to get it done.
I really don’t think it’s close this season TBH. Eastern has been the better player. You could argue that Robb is better for IU because of the lack of shooting, but he is at 27% on 3 attempts per game. For Purdue, I would much rather take Eastern at 0% on basically 0 attempts with drives to the hole instead. Plus, the defense isn’t even comparable.Took you all long enough. Why Are the last five years the only years that are relevant? Lol. Don’t be dumb. Everyone would take Beilein’s last five years over Painters.Really? I corrected that for you. Beilein hasn't won a Big title in the last 5 years. Only BTT."Better record" is kind of deceiving.
Painter last 5 years: 2 B1G titles, 0 BTT, 0 FF / E8, 4 NCAAT wins
Izzo last 5: 2 B1G titles, 2 BTT, 1 FF, 1 E8, 9 NCAAT wins
Beilein last 5: 0 B1G, 2 BTT, 1 FF, 1 E8, 1 S16, 10 NCAAT wins
are you dumb?Miles Bridges goes to Drexel he’s not getting drafted. You know that.
He’s not to my knowledge on any draft boards. He hasn’t shown anything to date that leads me to believe he has any realistic shot. Now, he could improve, but as Kline said it would need to be major to even get a sniff of the NBA draft. But then again, you also believed he would be more of an impact this year than he has been. You're the one that made the claim. Back it up and then I'll tell you why I think he has a shot.

Dude... I gave you a 10 year. Hell, let's take the entire duration of coaching in conference. Why Are the last five years the only years that are relevant? Lol. Don’t be dumb. Everyone would take Beilein’s last five years over Painters.
Gotta side with the IU guys on this, I don’t see him as having a shot at the NBA.He’s not to my knowledge on any draft boards.
