I read big ass, for a sec.

Law of avgs says no. With that said have a bad feeling about OSU.
Unlikely. BUT.....IU is playing good basketball, right now. I guess a lot depends on if you guys have Ward, and how healthy he is. No Ward, and I think its quite possible. Sometimes a team just has your number. But man is it tough to beat someone 3x's. Especially someone as good as MSU.IU fans ya think ya can beat MSU 3x?

Agree. I think an IU win, puts them in. OSU loss, IMO, makes it very dicey for them.IU v OSU is likely an NCAAt elimination game. IU is very very likely out with a loss. OSU would be sweating bullets with an L
Loser of OSU/IU goes to NIT.Agree. I think an IU win, puts them in. OSU loss, IMO, makes it very dicey for them.
Yeah, the truth is...you all deserve to have a good run. Its almost unbelievable how every good season you all started out having, it ALWAYS ended up in a tailspin before the season was over. Does Fran make practices way to hard later in the season? Because it has to be something he's doing because that's the only constant throughout all of these meltdowns.Fire Barta and then get someone to be the AD the fire Fran. I have come to grips with that I will never see an Iowa team in the sweet 16. If they do that’s great. I’ve been through the Lickliter years. I’m willing to take the chance that it gets that bad again for the chance to move the program forward. It’s stuck and not getting better. If it gets as bad as Lickliter I won’t watch. That’s fine.
How'd you like your new QB and HC?
We almost made it a comedy.I think Ryan Day will be a good one. Not sure about Justin Fields quite yet. Lots of hype but he’s getting pushed by a redshirt freshman from what we saw so far. Btw congrats to Wisconsin today.
Refs have it out against Iowa! It's the only logical possibility.I wonder why the teams playing against Iowa always have great offensive games?
Before I met Gil, Iowa was actually a team I'd pull for if IU was out of it. If IU couldn't win it, I'd rather Iowa win then someone else. However, I met Gil and now I pray that he only has misery when it comes to his sports teams.1) Gil makes it really easy to root against Iowa.
2) When you have by far the worst defense in the conference, it makes it easy for your opponent to play well
3) Your facts are hard to dispute
Looking up. Beat the spread, yo. We were picked like 12th and ended up 6th. We're gonna have a nice post-season team banquet at a Pizza Ranch in Solon.Refs have it out against Iowa! It's the only logical possibility.
Being an Iowa fan on a board dominated by gil:Before I met Gil, Iowa was actually a team I'd pull for if IU was out of it. If IU couldn't win it, I'd rather Iowa win then someone else. However, I met Gil and now I pray that he only has misery when it comes to his sports teams.
I've got to be honest with you...its been a very long day of driving, so its possible that's why, but I don't have a clue what the hell you were trying to say here.Looking up. Beat the spread, yo. We were picked like 12th and ended up 6th. We're gonna have a nice post-season team banquet at a Pizza Ranch in Solon.
Except Iowa....Yeah your right. It’s probably just a coincidence that teams consistently shoot above average against Iowa.
Nebraska hit some tough shots. So does every team.
Is he a Purdue fan? And I'm not sure he's putting Painter above Izzo but rather suggesting he's in the same grouping with Izzo and Beilein. I'd agree with that on coaching but recruiting knocks him down below them in my book.Lol. Only a Purdue fan would put Painter above Izzo. Hopefully this was a joke?
Got eem. SmokinSmileWell, Iowa's women team is winning B1G.
So there's that, Hawkeyes.
I'm keeping my head up about Iowa's season. We were picked for the basement and ended up 6th in a tough league. Pizza Ranch is an Iowa thing. They have fried chicken, mashed potatoes, fountain soda, iceberg lettuce salad bar, and bad pizza. We're gonna gather there for our postseason pep rally.I've got to be honest with you...its been a very long day of driving, so its possible that's why, but I don't have a clue what the hell you were trying to say here.
Why not just wish misery on him? Seems excessive.....Before I met Gil, Iowa was actually a team I'd pull for if IU was out of it. If IU couldn't win it, I'd rather Iowa win then someone else. However, I met Gil and now I pray that he only has misery when it comes to his sports teams.
Lol that's the general tone I figured it was. But I didn't want to say something until I figured out if I should be pissed, or laughing.I'm keeping my head up about Iowa's season. Unfortunately for you and all the other Iowa fans....sports are the only thing I'm certain he enjoys. Due to the fact that I don't want to get to know him...Iowa has to suck. Why not just wish misery on him? Seems excessive.....
But are you certain based on his post history?Unfortunately for you and all the other Iowa fans....sports are the only thing I'm certain he enjoys. Due to the fact that I don't want to get to know him...Iowa has to suck.
I agree....I know that there's been a lot of games since you all played them, but I think they match up with you all extremely well. Granted, you all are basically a completely different team because how good you all played after those games. I think Michigan will beat you all 7 or 8 out of 10 simply because of the matchups. So, the bracket is set. I think Michigan has a much easier path to the title than MSU or Purdue. I guess it's good to be the 3 seed.
Hell, I think we have to get past Penn State first. They are playing as well as any team in the Big Ten. 6-2 in their last 8 with a close loss at Wisky and a 12 point loss at Purdue and we won't have the Mackey crowd this time.I agree....I know that there's been a lot of games since you all played them, but I think they match up with you all extremely well. I don’t think Painter is on the same level with Beilein or Izzo, at all. Those two are far and away the best in the league and two of the beer in the country. Is he a Purdue fan? Appreciate that. Puzzles me to no endYeah, the truth is...you all deserve to have a good run. You are certainly entitled to that opinion.I don’t think Painter is on the same level with Beilein or Izzo, at all. Those two are far and away the best in the league and two of the beer in the country.
Well, Iowa's women team is winning B1G.

In the last 5 years, here are the conference wins by Big Ten program:
Purdue 69
MSU 67
Wisconsin 61
Maryland 57
Michigan 56
OSU 52
Iowa 48
IU 48
Nebraska 36
Northwestern 34
Illinois 33
Minnesota 32
PSU 32
Rutgers 16
Additionally:
- Purdue is one of just 6 teams nationally to play in the Sweet 16 the last two seasons
- Purdue will be one of just 6 teams nationally to receive a top 5 seed each of the last 4 years
Given that Purdue hasn't been anywhere near the most talented team in the Big Ten in that period, that's a sign of some damn impressive coaching to me.
Whats with u and that word? And check the spelling. LolRollLaugh
I don’t live in Baltimore. I root for the Baltimore teams. Get bent you triggered ***git.
Cool story. Beilein has been to the National Championship game twice recently. Izzo has been to numerous Final Fours. They both have done well in the conference. This isn’t a controversial comment. Izzo and a Beilein are head and shoulders above the rest of the conference coaches. You are certainly entitled to that opinion.
