actually on Hawkeye Report they had a poll on how Iowa do in its last 10 game
the majority picked 5-5
the 2nd highest 6-4
the 3rd highest 4-6
so it looks like they were close to how they finished
to be disappointed you need to predict better than how the team finished
most on here before the season predicted Iowa to have a losing record overall and in the BT but they went .500 record in BT play and 21-10 overall.
exceeding everybodies expectations. even the so called experts.
there were just 2 that predicted that Iowa would finish with 23 wins with 10 to go.

to me this is a very good year considerding last season and how people were predicting Iowa finish like they did. even on the Hawkeye msg boards none gave Iowa any kind of a chance to do what they did,
hmmm Wisconsin 22-9 Iowa 21-10. looks pretty even to me. the sad part is 2 of those 22 wins came vs Iowa.
again I like the direction this team is going and that's up,
playing with out two of their top 6 players. and they will join the team in the 19-20 season.
how many teams for next season returns 8 of this year top 9 and return 2 of their top 6 from the 17-18 season.
"Somehow" is simply winning against the competition we'll be given in the first rounds of our next two tournaments. That's it. We beat that level of competition with frequency early in the year, lost to most of the top half of Big Ten, and got embarrassed late by that level of competition in several consecutive games to finish the regular season schedule. It can be dizzying if you're a loyal Iowan like me.
You finished 4 games behind us in the B1G. You’re terrible SOS non con wins don’t mean jack. 10-10 in the B1G. Average, mediocre, etc.
