Kenny’s been in scholarship since his Sophmore year.

And he’s not. Kenny is averaging 8/9. Baer is averaging 7/4.
Baer's other key stats by total's in 19.6 mpg
steals 31 and 32 blocks, 2nd on the team in rebounds. Cook leads the team in rebounding
these are the top scorers
Cook 15.3
Garza 12.6
Bohannon 11.5
Wieskamp 10.9
Moss 9.1
Baer 6.8

Goins is avg'ing 29.2 mpg 9.6 more ppg than Baer, Baer was the BT 6th MOY as a RSSO. AND this is Goins best year. the other years are not even close.

please don't use just 1 year and declare someone the best.

Baer has been consistent his entire career.

Carson has a shot but his little stunt yesterday likely cost him.

Candidly, Cash won it when Carsen went 7-40 at IU and Nebraska. Had Michigan won yesterday and Carsen went off, I could have seen Carsen get a few more votes but I still think Cash would have won.

Looks like IU remembered that Juwan Morgan is one of the best players in the league. Too bad they forgot for several games or they'd be comfortably in the tournament.

Kenny Goins avervages more Points, Rebounds, Assists, blocks, shoots better from the field, 3 point range, and the free throw line.

Literally the only thing Baer does better is get steals. Know your facts before you mane dumb posts.

Baer has been far better than Goins his entire career

again you use just 1 season to justify your claim that Goins is the best walk on.
I use 4 seasons to make my claim.

Yeah that’s not exactly how that went down. When you show you can’t shoot the defense packs it in
There is certainly some of that but in the games I've watched, they have had opportunities to get the ball to Morgan and appeared to have forgot he was on the court at times.

He scored no less than 14 points in every game in January, so that certainly wasn’t the issue in those games.

Had a few bad games in February

No Eastern for All-Defense? That wouldn’t surprise me if he made it.

I use 4 seasons to make my claim.

It's not an apples to apples comparison.

Baer scored more and rebounded more when Iowa was a trash team 2 out of the last 4 years. This will be only his 2nd ncaa tournament, this year. No banners.

Goins played behind NBA lottery picks in Miles Bridges, JJJ, has won 2 B1G titles, and has made 4 straight NCAA tournaments. And he's better than Baer in every statistical category this year.

But Baer is top 10 all time on Iowa’s block list!

Jalen before Wieskamp.

Jalen averaging 11.5 pts, 6.7 boards, 1 assist with a defensive rating of 100 in conference play
Wieskamp averaging 11 points, 4.7 boards, and 1 assist with a defensive rating of 108.4.

Everything else looks good except Ignas should probably be 2nd team, Cowan probably 3rd.

Big Ten champs!

Would be nice to have been healthy and had an outright title but we can share it with a less deserving Purdue team.

Tom Izzo BTCOY and Cassius Winston BTPOY.

The Big Ten Tournament is going to be fun and wide open this year. If IU holds on here, it looks like they are locked into the 8/9 game and would play Michigan State again if they win Thursday. That is a much more interesting opening game for a top seed. Reminds me of the years Michigan upset top seeds IU and Purdue as a 8/9 seed.

I think any team can lose to any team this year. It might be all chalk or it could get crazy but it looks to be a really fun tournament.

I dont remember any chatter about Cassius Winston coming into the year as a potential player of the year winner. But he is the clear winner to me. Reminds me of last year with KBD of Ohio State where a guy who didnt get much preseason pub ends up running away with it.

Are you drunk?
Nope not at all...he's made mistakes this year and there are situations where I don't agree with his thoughts on that situation . But, so many of this years issues were completely out of his control.

How many times in your lifetime have you seen 5 college basketball players sitting on the bench in street clothes because of injuries? I've seen it maybe 6 or 7 times...all this year when I t happened to IU for 6 or 7 games.

However, if 2 or 3 years down the road his teams are still struggling to compete...I'll say I was wrong.

Pretty sure he was calling out your grammar homie.
