They tried to change the name Miller Park on us. Ain’t happening.
Even though I’m a Cardinal fan, Miller Lite all day everyday when light beer is on the docket.
Yep I felt the same about the Nats. In the same range as Clev and Philly for me. Nothing wrong with the parks but nothing unique about them.

I'm still bullish on him as a coach and still believe he will have multiple opportunities to win BIG championships and final 4s in the next 10 years. Not saying he will make multiple final 4s because there's so much Luck in fall to get to a final 4. But, I think the Hill have multiple teams that are capable of reaching those e Expectations
Now, it could turn out that I'm completely wrong and hes fired agter 4 years. But, everything that he's done so far leads me to believe that he has the ability to achieve that. I think this year was just a situation where literally every possible bad thing that could have happened.....happened.

You could easily be right. It’s difficult and unfair to judge a new coach off of one season IMO.
Beilein is so classy. Definitely can’t hate him. Livers has some nice stuff to say as well. Talked about how good our role players are.
But I strongly dislike Poole and Ignas. They are obnoxious and cocky. They are the reason beating UM twice felt so satisfiying.

For some reason I really like Ignas. Mostly because I’d love to have him on my team. Can’t stand Poole though.
So Big Ten award time- Painter or Izzo for Coach of the year? Edwards or Winston for Player of the Year?

I understand and agree with Painter as COY, but this may have been Izzo’s best coaching year. So many injuries, and just really got the best out of everyone. Kenny and Matt, Henry , Tillman.
Not stylistically, but this team sort of reminds me of some of those Gene Keady title teams. Getting the best out of everyone.

Also, I’m happy that the narrative Simpson outplays Cash is gone. Cash has outplayed him twice this season.
Don't mind seeing co-COY's, but Cash is the only deserving POY.
I think Painter is CoY, but man Izzo made it close. He was incredible the last month managing his teams injuries and lineups. If it turned out to be Izzo, I wouldn’t be too shocked.
I think both are close but painter started out with less. Carson has a shot but his little stunt yesterday likely cost him.
Last year Simpson outplayed him twice. All I kept hearing before the first matchup was that Simpson would own Winston/ shut him down, and from some idiot UM fans (usually the Walmart wolverines) that Simpson was the superior player.
Winston had 2 great games against UM. Winston outplayed him twice.
not even close as Baer for Iowa is/was the best. in fact he was good enough to get a scholarship.
Kenny’s been in scholarship since his Sophmore year.
And he’s not. Kenny is averaging 8/9. Baer is averaging 7/4.
This might have been the first year Michigan has been the preseason favorite for a lot of people. It kind of sucks in hindsight. 15-5 and finishing 3rd is a good season but still feels like this team underachieved.
I live in the metro Detroit area. I live with UM fans. Most people here understand basketball better than the average person.
Especially after going undefeated in the Non-Conference. Denzel Valentine year we did the same thing. We played against pro teams and Europe and came out hot, like UM this year. I think IU won the Big Ten that year. Sort of disappointing.
