This would actually only be the third shared championship in the past decade. There were three-way ties in 2010 and 2012.

Iowa may not have won by that many but it would have been a lot closer
1st Iowa avg'd 22 FTM pg and 29 FTA pg they shot 6 and made 4 to = their avg that means they score 18 more points
2 to shoot that many FT's they call fouls on Wisconsin forcing their players to play a totally different way due to Foul trouble.

how many games in Happs entire carrer did he shoot 18 FT's in just one game?
in the 1st game Happ went 1-4
last season Iowa beat Wisconsin 85-67 Happ 5-5 that was when Iowa went 4-14 in BT play

those 2 seasons they played just once.
Happ on SR night shot more ft's than had in the 3 previous games combined.

Cook going into last night avg'd 4 FTM to 6 FTA and he shot ZERO ft's and did not score for the 1st time in 3 seasons.
in the 1st game he scored 19 point and went 3-4 from the FTL. he was the teams leading scorer @15+ ppg

1st game Iowa went 14-19 with Wisconsin committing 24 fouls,
Iowa just quit playing because they knew it would do them no good as they were not going to get any calls and Wiscy was not getting anything called against them.
what will be interesting to watch in the game vs Nebraska is how the calls go. in the 1st game Nebraska 25 fouls while shooting 20-26 from the FTL

lets see if is that close or will it be another game where Iowa only shoots 6 ft's or less as Fran will be back.
Had 3 the last decade. Wanted to spread the wealth. Much like this year, we managed to piss away a game or two that we shouldn’t have and it cost us. Many good but not great teams.

that's no reason to put him on a pedestal and make him untouchable players. Happ doesn't deserve that type of treatment by the refs.

You can't be this simple. Chucky shoots the ball 20x/gm.Assist implies that said chucker made the shot. So not sure how that's a bad thing?
And rarely makes shot assisted from other players so not sure what games you're watching where Cline feeds Edwards?

thanks just proves that buy outs really mean nothing and in the BT with the TV Money the buy outs are just a drop in the bucket.
who would a thought that the Illinois coaches buy out was 15,479,167 dollars.
He actually just got bumped up to $2.8 this fall, so it probably won't get adjusted for another year at least. But he's on a five-year rolling contact with automatic extensions that either party can void.
