Why are they playing on monday?

Also, it was never this way. But recently they partnered with NBC Chicago Sports Network and I think that has something to do with it. 4a and 3a use to play their championship on Sat night

Dang. Thats alot of games in 3 days. Do you do the quarterfinals at state or just semis and finals?

4a is the biggest. 1a is the smallest. That 7 foot kid that is supposed to be highly ranked should make the finals and will be on TV Friday in the 3a finals. A couple other D1 kids are out at state to. The kid that picked OSU, DJ Carlton, didnt even make it to state. And they were ranked #1. Lol, loser

We used to have 4 divisions, 1 being biggest. They'd play 3 games, everyone else 2. Now there is 5 divsions and it's all semis/finals. Hate this as I liked to watch more Div 1 games. Just better basketball. Now we're stuck with more scrub ball.

I hear you. The only reason I am watching 1A is because the Catholic school from my hometown made it to state. Otherwise I would only watch 4a.

Are your finals on TV? Any good D1 prospects?

All the state games are on tv. Local abc I believe. Can also stream on web. Girls are this week, boys next. #3 2020 Jalen Johnson still in it with their loaded D2 team. #146 Johnny Davis still in it (likely badger). Couple top 5 2021 guys still in it, Foster and Baldwin. I'm guessing they'll all make it.

Is Jalen Johnson committed to Wisky?

Your team sucks we don't care about all these useless stats
why because they make you look like total MORON's every time you say that Iowa can't play defense or that Fran can't teach defense.

again just for you Fran's team has been playing short handed all season with Cook missing 2 games
Garza missing 2 games

in both games Pemsl and Nunge could have provided much needed Height and length on defense.

I am enjoying this season and looking forward to next season with a full roster .

Missing 2 games is short handed?

oh bye the bye OSU fans Carton team was a 1 seed and got beat by the #8 seed in district play. 4A

Iowa commit Patrick's team advanced to the State finals in class 4A the large school classification

a note on Wieskamp he led his class 4A team to state, this season with everybody but Wiesscamp returning went 0-21. Wieskamp was his team.

God I hate how they can do that. I just looked him up on 24/7. All the big names have offers out to him. They have him 70 to 30 for Duke.

Looks like he would be a good get if you could land him.

Yea, would only be for a year most likely. But we'll have a senior laden team that year. Could be a big piece but I'm not counting on it.

that left Fran with just 7 scholarship players to play. yeah that's short handed plus when Garza or Cook went to the bench in foul trouble, all Fran had left to play the 4 or 5 was 6'9 Kriener, the next tallest player was 6'7 Baer.

this is where 7'0 Nunge was missed
6'8 Pemsl was Cook's backup.

but your to ignorant to understand the basic needs of a BB Team. next looks like this
6'1 Jordan backup 6'5 Connor
6'5 Moss backup 6'7 Dailey
6'6 Wieskamp backup 6'9 Patrick
6'9 Cook backup 6'8 Pemsl
6'11 Garza backup 7'0 Nunge
off the bench
6'9 Kriener
6'4 Fredrick
5'11 Troussaint

that give Fran 6 player that are 6'8 or taller vs the 3 this season

So does your mother, but....oh wait, NM.

From ESPN:

Why every team in the Power Rankings will or will not make Final Four

Michigan

    • Why they will: This is another versatile, disciplined unit in Ann Arbor that's working on its seventh consecutive season with a top-10 finish in turnover percentage on KenPom.com. Its top-five defense has anchored a Final Four-worthy program that has collected wins over Villanova, North Carolina, Wisconsin and Purdue.
    • Why they won't: The immediate concern for this team's Final Four hopes is the status of Charles Matthews, who was on the bench in a walking boot during Sunday's win at Maryland and will not play until he's "pain free" from an ankle injury, coach John Beilein said. The other problem that could hurt this team is its 33.9 percent clip from the 3-point line in league play, which will be the program's worst mark since 2010 if it stands.
Michigan State

    • Why they will: The Spartans have Cassius Winston, a Wooden Award candidate who has carried this squad and produced heroic efforts (19.2 PPG, 7.6 RPG, 43 percent from the 3-point line) throughout the season. Surrounded by gritty veterans and an experienced coach, Winston can lead this team to the Final Four.
    • Why they won't: The Spartans have succeeded in the Big Ten, America's deepest league. But there will be moments in the NCAA tournament when Tom Izzo will wish he had Joshua Langford, out for the season with a foot injury, and Nick Ward, potentially out for the year with a fractured left hand.
Purdue

    • Why they will: Carsen Edwards (23.5 PPG) is a force for the Boilermakers and an impressive playmaker who has led this program to the top of the deepest league in the country. They have the Big Ten's best offense, a critical element in their current 13-1 stretch.
    • Why they won't: The Boilermakers have surrendered nearly a point per possession in league play thus far. And their nonconference slate is decorated with losses (Florida State, Texas, Virginia Tech) to opponents backed by the bouncy athletes who could challenge this up-and-down defense in the NCAA tournament.
Wisconsin

    • Why they will: With Ethan Happ (17.8 PPG, 10.1 RPG), Wisconsin has bounced back from its 1-3 stretch to start the calendar year and won 12 Big Ten games. His passing ability (4.7 APG) creates space on the perimeter for the top 3-point shooting team in the league too.
    • Why they won't: You can't trust this team down the stretch in tight games in the NCAA tournament. Happ has made just 45 percent of his free throws this season and his team has made only 60.2 percent of its attempts from the charity stripe, the worst mark in league play.
Iowa

    • Why they will: N/A
    • Why they won't: Fran
Is that real? That’s funny if it is

I always feel that if a WI recruit is Dekker good, we have a chance.
Better than that, we're out.

Dekker was #13. Johnson is #3. I'm failing to see much of a difference here. Although Dekker rose quite a bit after he committed. Something that would never happen for an Iowa recruit.

Michigan does not play thug ball. Purdue does not play thug ball only bottom feeder team play thug ball because that's the only way they can win.
Illinois
Rutgers
PSU
Maybe time for them to play real BB vs thug ball.
Purdue is one of the most physical teams in the league. Admit it, your team is a bunch of soft pussies.

You just need excuses for why your team is ranked last on defense.
