*Official* B1G In-Season Thread

I like our team a hell of a lot more than Purdue's. Plus you forget to mention IU was w/o Rob Phinisee, starting PG, @ Michigan. Or against Illinois. Yet still, @ UM, w/o Phin or Davis, with ROmeo and Morgan in foul trouble, IU still managed to hang around. But that part doesn't fit your agenda. Purdue hasn't had to deal with the injuries IU has. You had better hope you don't. IU has yet have a game where everyone is available.

Keep telling yourself PU and IU are equal. We'll see where this stands in about a month. When hopefully IU is healthy. Even as we are now---I'd take IU over Purdue.

Edit: BTW, IU has wins over Marquette, Butler and Louisville. Purdue's best win is MD---at Mackey. After that-----Its Davidson.
Our losses are more impressive than your wins. Glad to see you’ve stayed in character making excuses prior to the outcomes. Well done!

Excuses? Stayed in character? Losses more impressive than our wins? Ok....Lets see how that works out on selection day...Laughing

I mean, you don't think being short 5 scholarship players had an impact in our game vs Michigan? Missing our starting PG didn't? Missing Davis didn't? Had zero impact---right? You see my simple minded friend---those aren't excuses...those are reasons----AKA as facts. See an excuse is----"We didn't play well----and they did". Or, "MSU is really good, and they beat everyone bad..."...Or, "They shot out of their minds......So on and so on. I'm not aware of tom any teams, much less a D1 team, could overcome being short handed 4 schollie players( I didn't use Hunter here), and win @ Michigan.

Injuries has derailed this team to an extent. But you gotta move on. No one's gonna feel sorry for you. It sucks. But hey, they ain't gonna cancel the games. So lace'em up.

You lost to ND. IU has 6 wins more impressive than that loss.
But, but.....there's the 19 point loss @ Michigan. The 18 point loss at MSU. I mean, dude...those are some impressive ass losses. And to be fair---there are the narrow losses to VaTech and FSU. More impressive losses for sure.Laughing

Well it apparently snagged at least one. I was just looking at the list of wins IU has and thought ...big deal? I despise IU fans in general so take that into account but exactly what has IU done that would make anyone nervous? Playing MSU or UM this year I get it. Playing IU? No big deal. And I’ll stand by the claim - losing to Va Tech neutral, Fla St. away is more impressive than any IU win. We will say how it plays out. Regardless of that Borden has his excuses at hand.

9-6............2-2 in the Big 10. The ole',"We gonna be just as good this year", ain't looking so good right now is it..

Losing to VaTech and FSU, is more impressive than 5 Top 50 Kenpom wins. More impressive than a 23-point win over Top 20 Marquette

Maybe you should petition the NCAA. Tell them you have another criteria for seeding/making the NCAAT.

"Most Impressive losses".Laughing

Va Tech LOST at PSU,where IU won and Wisky won by 19 pts.Va Tech's "best" win was Washington. Exactly what makes a neutral LOSS to Va Tech impressive? Who the Hell have they beaten? Btw,IU beat UL who beat MSU. The same MSU team PU just lost to by 18 pts...

IU wins are not impressive? Not really hard to understand.
You are claiming that Purdue’s losses to VA Tech and Florida State are more impressive than any IU WIN?

I have no dog in this fight, but you have to be trolling right?

I take back my original post. I want a signature win for MSU. We have some good wins but every time we beat a ranked team/decent team they shit the bed.

Cook out with a knee bruise. NW getting the homerism as Kriener is getting hammered no call.

C.J. Jackson had a Carsen Edwards type game against Rutgers (thought not as bad.)

4-13 from the field, not as bad as Carsen but pretty awful. At least he had 4 assists as opposed to one turnover.

C.J. has got to be better for OSU if they want to be a top 4 team in the Big Ten this year.

Purdue has 5 losses to the top 30 KP. IU has zero wins against the top 30. SOS is not remotely the same. FTR the Marguette win is not “impressive”. Neither are narrow wins against NW or Penn St.

Marquette would be by far the best team that Purdue has beaten to this point.

Where you been - anybody with any credibility takes into account SOS. Only idiots who think AP votes mean anything wouldn’t take that into consideration.
