I mean you still have potential losses to UM at home, MSU home and away.
Those are some high quality losses right there for the taking.
Resume losses!!

Maybe I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that, in order to record an assist, the person who receives the pass actually has to make a shot.
Man, I wanna root for the Hawks for dudes like you...But Dragon Hawk Fcvk...or whatever Gil's calling himself these days, makes it rough...We are in a dog fight. Gotta have this one.
Ohhhhhh, so THIS is what going full ****** looks like. Got it. Thanks Pig!This is not true. A 2 point win over Penn State is not as impressive as a 2 point loss to Duke. Not remotely. No one who has any insight into the game would suggest otherwise. When did who you play not matter? Why don’t non P5 schools dominate the NCAA at large bids? Hmmm?
Brutal.....Just brutal. Honest, though....I mean----you are right.Translation: “zero assists, hail”

So I'll pull for a tie?
Naaah....For you, I hope Iowa gets the "W".
You are too easily embarrassed. Just curious when quality of competition became a non-factor? It’s an “odd take” used by every legitimate statistical based rating system. A Purdue guy should not be embarrassed by statistics.Pig, please take the rest of the night off. You are embarrassing the fanbase with a really odd take that makes absolutely no sense.
Because IU's 23 point win over KenPom #33 Marquette is more impressive than any of our losses. To suggest otherwise is silly. You are too easily embarrassed. Sure SOS matters but as a stat it's skewed. If Purdue had won a few of those games against FSU VT ect.. it would have lowered their SOS because losing those games gave those teams a quality win, therefore improving their SOS. IU beating Marquette, Louisville, Butler ect.. actually hurt IU's SOS overall. It's why SOS is not the end all be all.You are too easily embarrassed. Kriener is freaking terrible at basketball. This is not good
why do I make it hard for you? just telling it like it is Iowa has a 11 road game losing streak in the BT and Cook's Iowa leading scorer and rebounder is out of tonights game with a knee injury. take anybody's top player off their team and see how it affects them especially on the road.Man, I wanna root for the Hawks for dudes like you...But Dragon Hawk Fcvk...or whatever Gil's calling himself these days, makes it rough...

TBH, really---IMO, any Top 50 win is more impressive than a Top 50 loss. I guess you can factor in things like, losing at the buzzer to #2...opposed to beating #49 by 2. I guess. Home and away can be a factor. But at the end of the day....Top 50 wins are better than Top 50 losses. As of now----I believe IU has 4 Top 50 KenPom wins(Marquette, UL, Butler and Nwestern). I'd take those over Purdue's 4, Top 30 losses.Because IU's 23 point win over KenPom #33 Marquette is more impressive than any of our losses. To suggest otherwise is silly.
When you’re using teams like that, then yeah, I get it.This is not true. A 2 point win over Penn State is not as impressive as a 2 point loss to Duke. Not remotely. My take was that SOS matters. And that win at Assembly Hall doesn’t impress me.Because IU's 23 point win over KenPom #33 Marquette is more impressive than any of our losses. To suggest otherwise is silly.
Yeah, b/c ummmm.........Well, this type of post ain't the issue....But you know that. If you posted like this more often....Well TBH, I'd think someone hijacked your account.why do I make it hard for you? just telling it like it is Iowa has a 11 road game losing streak in the BT and Cook's Iowa leading scorer and rebounder is out of tonights game with a knee injury. take anybody's top player off their team and see how it affects them especially on the road.

Of course SOS matters. But that's not what you said.My take was that SOS matters. And that win at Assembly Hall doesn’t impress me.
Getting that bad, ehhh? I'm watching Kansas. Don't like watching scary shit before bad. So I passed on the Iowa game..Board notice - We are at Francon 3 and venturing toward Francon 2!!

BTW, I'm sure IU fans will grab Purdue's 70th defensive rating and make fun as they seem to post more about Purdue than their own team. So I'll add that Purdue's OppO SOS to date is 2nd nationally. Just a brutal schedule.
I’m rooting for Kansas. Hopefully that will be a top tier loss for us by the end of the season.Getting that bad, ehhh? I'm watching Kansas. Don't like watching scary shit before bad. So I passed on the Iowa game..
Of course not, you're a Purdue fan and it was IU.My take was that SOS matters. And that win at Assembly Hall doesn’t impress me.
True...Though he leaves out the 4, Top 50 wins. I'll take those over Top 10 losses, all day. When you’re using teams like that, then yeah, I get it.
Purdue has 6 losses. Note Dame and unfortunately Texas just aren’t very good. Indiana has half the amount of losses. And they have the better win.
Also, in March no one will remember you put up a good fight against Duke. They won’t care that Penn State kept it close. You play the game to win.
Did the win vs Maryland for Purdue at Mackey impress you?My take was that SOS matters. And that win at Assembly Hall doesn’t impress me.

Thank you. I didn’t say all Purdue’s losses were more impressive. I’m just unimpressed with IUs wins to date. The idea that quality of competition is a non factor baffles me though. When you’re using teams like that, then yeah, I get it.

he is having a bad game after scoring 10 points and 3 rebounds 2 assists and 1 steal in 17 minutes vs Purdue then against Nebraska, ijn his 1st start did this. 14 points 3 rebounds in 25 minutes. he is not a terrible player.Kriener is freaking terrible at basketball.

LaughingI’m rooting for Kansas. Hopefully that will be a top tier loss for us by the end of the season.
At least tell me I beat you to it...........Great minds think alike
A top 40 win is better than a top 10 loss. Even if they both were close.Thank you. I didn’t say all Purdue’s losses were more impressive. I’m just unimpressed with IUs wins to date. The idea that quality of competition is a non factor baffles me though.
We don’t. Thanks for understanding. Purdue losses to Fla St and Va Tech are more impressive than our wins too. Even our blowout of Iowa at home. Oops ...I mean #25 Iowa.By that logic, Purdue wouldn’t have a single impressive win this season. Cool.....

Our losses are more impressive than your wins. Glad to see you’ve stayed in character making excuses prior to the outcomes. Well done!
Yep, I get it. Thanks tho.Are you aware what an adjusted defensive defensive rating is? Playing the #2 SOS is already factored in to the points per possession adjustment.
Kenpom’s defensive rating is the projected amount of points a team would give up per 100 possessions against the average team.
