Damn.....hate to see this. I like Mark. But damn, his teams just show the same weaknesses from year to year. Hero ball, lack of any real Zone offense, lack of point guards, terrible foul shooting, turnovers.
The most distressing trend is the way Coach Turgeons's teams have faded badly in last few years - they look tired and unprepared - just off. Under Williams - Terps almost always got better as year went on. And almost always sprung some great upsets of Duke or Carolina......we had hope.
Under Gary - we had a great tactician, potentially the best in game coach ever (as verified by Mike K - "Gary can take my 5 or his five and beat me more than anybody I have coached against)...but Gary lost interest in recruiting, late in career.
The season is still young - and some teams will get better, and some will regress. Since this Terp team is so young - I still have hope they will improve as BIG season gets rolling. I too am losing patience.
