About right, I think the Reds have a better lineup than the Cardinals though. At this point that's the order I'd have.

Michigan's resume just keeps getting better and better.....

Former slain victim Providence just took down juggernaut Texas down in Austin.

Texas usually beats everyone.....

Big Iowa fan this guy is (huge guilty pleasure have seen them around 7-8 times or so)

Just letting everyone know, its Purdue today, probably Iowa/ME soon, Indiana eventually, and if all goes well, MSU. lol.

Could argue better lineup but Cards have the better rotation hands down.
No question, that's why I would have them ahead of the Reds at this point. The Reds do have some young guys due for breakout seasons, hopefully the new pitching coach can make a difference. Definitely need to make a trade for a top of the rotation starter though.

Its gonna get big time, real fast. The BIG 10 is going to be brutal.

Us being 0-2 is NOT good. No cheap dates. We could end up 1-4. Urgh.

Hoosiers should be 3-0 going into at Michigan and then at Maryland...it’s rough looking at the schedule

It is.....After those two road dates, we come home to play Nebraska. Top half of IU's schedule is brutal. Only games I feel really comfy about are Illinois, and @ Rutgers.
First 10(alrady played @ PSU, Vs NW).

Illinois
@UM
@MD
Vs Neb
@Purdue
@NW
Vs UM
@Rutgers

Brutal.

6-2 it isn't that bad.

You think we go 6-2 versus that 8 game stretch?
Illinois--W
@ Michigan-L
@ Maryland----Meh....Toss up,really.
Vs Nebraska--toughie. But we are at home. "W"
@ Purdue---THink we are better. But Mackey is tough. "L"
@ NW---I do think we win here. W
Vs Michigan---I just dunno here. At home. Toss up.
@ Rutgers- "W".

4 wins...2 losses...2 toss ups.

I'd be happy with 4-4. Very happy with 5-3. We go 6-2, and we are probably winning the conference. Or no wrse than third.

I see us splitting the toss up games and winning out at home. The rest of the teams we should just beat. We will have the 2 best players on the court most nights and if Devonte keeps up what he did the other night while the young guys keep improving we'll be tough to beat.

I see 6-2 but anything worse than 5-3 would be disappointing. I could see Michigan sweeping us but no way we should be worse than 5-3.

You really think we're going to lose 4 of those games?

Murphy and Oturu were great last night. The perimeter guys, not so much. It baffles me that Coffey can takeover a game like he did vs. Nebraska yet plays like he did last night against a cupcake.

I think Michigan is clearly a better team but I think a lot of fans are overrating that stretch a bit. To me 4-4 would be extremely concerning.

I wouldn’t say extremely concerning. Honestly there’s 5 games I can see them losing. @PU, @Nw, @Maryland, UMx2. Also can see them going 6-1, they’re a resilient group. Will be fun to watch though.

FWIW, Kenpom has you as favorites in 4 of them and underdogs in 4 of them
Kenpom also has Purdue at 17 despite a 7-5 record and a terrible defense. They have Maryland 27th despite having played nobody and having Turgeon as a coach. Kenpom also had us losing to Butler. 4-4 would mean we lost both games against Michigan and both toss ups.

Heck 4 of the games are Illinois, Rutgers, Northwestern, and Nebraska at home. (They don't usually play well in the road) I just don't see it.

In my season prediction, which I’m perfect at the moment btw, I have them going 4-4 in that stretch. L @UM, @PU, @Maryland, and UM at home.

I got you, but to me that would be worst case scenario, based on what we've see from this team and the room for growth.

23-8 14-6 conference 5 seed sweet 16. Honestly its probably a bit optimistic. There's likely two more losses in there somewhere just not sure where, one of UofL/Butler and one in conference. Possible MSU at home or some fvck up game like @Iowa or @Illinois. Also out at round of 32 but couldn't bring myself to be honest.

Just think Purdue and Maryland are tough places to play and Michigan is really good. Good news is they’d still have a chance at a good season. Majority of their conference losses will come in that stretch of games IMO.

Agreed think they’re a tick better than I anticipated. Can win at Maryland and Purdue and think with our home court advantage can win against UM. They go 2-1 in those 3 and it’ll be promising.

I was saying it to try and ease your concern if somehow you guys drop 4 of them. It's not the end of the world because that is projected.

5-3 sounds right. 6-2 should make you guys happy. 4-4 should be a "welp" but not concerning IMO.

Thanks for telling us you don’t understand how Kenpom works.
