Hummel has been a bigger homer this year as any. He’s the best in the Big Ten, but he has had some moments of blatant homerism that didn’t show up in years past.
The first half I wondered how any good team could lose to Nebraska. In the 2nd, you guys beat yourselves.

There were mentions on the homeboard that he was sick the last few days. He looked lethargic.
As weird as it seems for Nebraska to pull off a big win with Tominaga not being a factor, I don't believe his offense is the key to Nebraska's success. Its all about Rienk Mast.
In Nebraska's 6 losses, Mast is averaging 6.2 ppg and less than an assist per game.
In their 16 wins he's scoring 17.2 ppg, with 4 assists per game.
Dude is an incredibly skilled big man who can shoot the three and handle the ball while possessing a plethora of low post moves near the hoop.
But despite his size, he's not very athletic. Shot blockers give him fits near the hoop and make him pretty one dimensional.
Its more than a coincidence that his 3 worst games of the season came against Maryland, Minnesota, and Rutgers. Those teams are the 3 best shot blocking teams in the Big Ten.
Illinois is a very good shot blocking team, and Nebraska plays like a middle school team on the road.
Bet the God Damn farm on Illinois to cover Sunday in Champaign. Illini will win that one by 17.
One of the Greatest College Basketball PBP men in the country has called games at Nebraska for 40+ years. Nobody has witnessed more losing basketball than this man. His call of the comeback last night was just incredible:

Honestly, because I'm not the typical PU fan. I grew up an IU fan so I go there to see what they are talking about. My brother and I talk about both PU and IU. I was at the game in Indy when PU played AZ and my brother and I were in the bar area watching the finish of the IU Kansas game. I was hoping IU would win.
You're right though. The people there are delusional. There are a handful of decent posters that can have civil conversations, but most are jackasses. They will call you dumb simply because you don't agree and they all circle jerk each other into agreement. Very little factual evidence ever comes up. Sounds like someone I know here in fact.
My problem is that I keep hoping I can get some reason across. That's my flaw.

It’s pretty wild to watch Galloway miss so many open threes after the way he shot last year. I know he got more last year with JHS and TJD getting so much attention, but he still gets some good looks when I watch and is laying bricks.

The team is broken, and has been for a while. They hate one another. There is absolutely no connection. Practice is a shit show----and well, its why we see what we do.
