You asked me to project who would start as of now… would you like me to project who will transfer and decommitments as well?
I’d guess if we lose Kofi, which is a 50/50, that we get one of the best transfers on the market.
Dainja plays more like Trevion Williams, below the rim/passing big. So he’s nothing like Payne, other than he was highly rated.
Rodgers will start regardless, IMO.
Epps at the 2 guard would be more out of necessity.

Purdue is really good....So is Illinois, when healthy. OSU is IMO just a notch below. MSU is jekyl/hyde---they make more dumb, dumb plays than IU does. I think IU is a lot better than what many on here wanna admit, and a lot of that is due to some IU posters getting under your skin..
who gives a **** if Lander is overrrated, or if Morton is better. I don't. What I do give a **** about is, Indiana is 7-4, and has a legit chacne of finishing in the To4/5---which is where I felt they could be. Their shooting has tailed off----which is a concern, BUT.....we do have that sniper in Stewart, and a dude who is capable of having a big night from three, in Kopp. Our starting 5, and rotation of 7/8 is solid...Top 5 in the league solid. IF not for a huge collapse vs Wisky, this team is ONE game out of first place, going into Feb.
SO really, I don't give two shits if Morton is better than Lander, or if Lander sucks balls---its irrelevant. What IS relevant is the B10 is a fuking mad house, straight up gauntlet---and you better be ready to play every.single.night...

I have looked at the roster of other teams. Other than Purdue, no one is losing as much as Illinois (not including transfers after the season).
I mean turning the ball over 3 out of 10 times isn't the end of the world. WOuld you take a 7 assist, 3 turnover night, every night? PLus, and not just with Galloway, but with any players, sometimes their turnovers aren't their fault----I'd love to see a stat pertaining to that.
Galloway should never shoot a three----like ever. But his basketball IQ is very high---he makes winning plays----tough ass dude---and the ball moves with him, which IMO, makes the offense more fluent, and makes up for the turnovers. Galloway is thst dude who can **** up for 35 minutes, then make a play or two, that wins you a ball game. I like the kid, and love what he brings to IU.

It’s certainly possible that Purdue, Wiscy, OSU, and IU all end up ahead of you in the standings. MSU doesn’t really have a chance imo.

Indiana is a good basketball team...They are a really good team when they take care of the ball, and it has showed over the past 8 games: 6-2. I thought with Kopp/Stewart/Bates, we'd shoot the ball better---And Parker has lved up to that. Kopp is streaky, and IMO when he's not making shots, he needs to sit. MOF, I think Geronimo should start. I like where IU is right now. Especially with how X is playing.....If Woody can keep him where he is at, this is gonna be a pretty good basektball team.
Its gonna be a really exciting, fun next few weeks----Sat vs Illinois is huge. Win there, and we sit 8-4, with a trip to NW. IMO, IF we win those two, its gonna be real interesting.....But on the flip side, we still have games @ MSU, OSU and Purdue... Need to go 1-2 there if we want any shot at a Top 4 spot. In reality, I think we go 5-4, finish 12-8, but think we COULD get to 13-7.
Floor IMO is 11-9----ceiling is 14-6. I do think WE COULD still games at OSU/MSU. Especially MSU. I see no way we win at Purdue, but I do think it'll be a battle.

Saturday is a huge game in regards to the Big Ten race. Illinois is probably the favorite if they win. Purdue probably the favorite if IU wins.

X has 23 assists/ 7 turnovers---what, almost 4;1? Averaging 15ppg/5apg/4rpg...Over the entire month, X has only had more than 3 turnovers twice, in 9 games....5 or more assists 6 times...double figures 4 times....
Man he has played really well.
HUnter the past 4 has been pretty solid as well: 14ppg/3apg/2rpg.. Hunters only turned it over more than once, twice, in 9 games, BUT----until recently, hasn't played close to the minutes that X has.
Bothof late are coming into their own, no doubt. But I'd take X, b/c at the end I think the difference is small, but-----I feel X is better at getting to the basketb, stronger, and a better defender/rebounder.
