Just waiting for my dawg @VulvHa to show me that Marquette ticket he cashed
Fck I missed all the action. That was several pages to go through. Was busy on MNF placing a ridiculous amount of in game bets. I did not bet the Illini game, but wish I did. Looks like the spread was Illini -8 with moneyline -350/+280. I wouldn’t have bet it even without Kofi since Marquette should be pretty bad even at home.

good God Illini fans...Bend over, spread our cheeks, and take the anal poundings sans lube we deserve from other big ten fans. There is nothing we can say right now.
I know I'm not in peak season form because I'm not trolling due to one game that you guys sucked in, but I generally root for B1G teams in NC for selfish reasons (SEC football effect). Except for IU of course😉

Big Ten basketball is way more like Big Ten football than we like to admit.

Can one of you with kenpom subscription tell me what he predicts on total points for Purdue v Wright St tonight?

Sounds about right. Probably why Vegas has it at 152.5. I hit the O152.5 for $1100 at -110. Wright St plays fast and our D is still working itself out.
I guess I need to pull the trigger on a VPN. I hate only being able to use my Draftkings account when I'm traveling. I like the parlay at Purdue -17.5 and the over.

FD must be trolling me. It just moved to 149.5.

First half only 71.5 … this seems too easy so I’m sure it’ll go under

The only thing I would worry about there is that Wright St’s top scorer is an undersized big who will likely struggle with Edey’s size.

I will be there tonight actually.

Wish I waited to bet. Would have got the entire amount on 148. Oh well.

4 for 18 with 7 turnovers? Did the crowd get to Curbelo? He was bloody awful. Minus the ball control issues, it was a great game to watch as a neutral observer.

Also, props to Tyler Kolek on this phenomenal, heads-up play.

He is a bit immature. He has read too many headlines about how he makes the great pass and he now is always looking to make a great pass when a normal pass would do. And now he is forcing shots because he is trying to replace Ayo and the NBA scouts want him to improve shooting. This most dreadful performance will either put him in check or it will be a sign of things to come from him.

He's busy trying to play for scouts instead of letting the game come to him seems to be the general consensus. Not sure why he's struggling so much, but until he figures it out, it limits our ceiling. Last night was a mix of flukiness.

Also, not sure why a soccer kick steal is allowed there lol.

It’s early but are you still seeing 30% + from Curbelo this year? 0 for 7 start.

Wearing your Purdue jersey I’m assuming.

Agreed, it is what it is. This board (and specifically this thread) effectively functions as an outlet for basic bros to talk shlt to each other as if we're hanging in a bar watching the game, and in that context we can only be proper punching bags right now. :)

With that said, if I am just giving my honest opinion on a good night's sleep, I think we will be fine. Last night was uncharacteristically bad even without Kofi, and getting him back will be huge. Safe to say we are not close to a top 10 team without him, and it is now fair to say that we need to prove we even are one WITH him. They'll certainly have their opportunities. Given the way Curbelo played last night, maybe a slice of humble pie early could pay off in the long run.

😂😂😂. Still waiting on your Payne and Plummer thoughts… you guys were so high on them 😂😂😂
I get your goal here is to talk shlt and not have a discussion, but people can have a bad game ... our entire team did. Whether you're an Illini fan or an Illini hater or something in between, it's undeniable that this season is exceptionally young, and there is a lot of basketball left to be played. Illinois could come out next week with Kofi and beat Cincinnati and #16 Arkansas on a neutral floor and be right back on track ... or they could lose twice and be in "meltdown mode." That's why they play the games. Plummer and Payne could end up having great years, along with Curbelo. We have all seen players who had overall good seasons absolutely stink it up in games.

This was a truly awful loss by Illinois. Marquette is no good. And Illinois just turned it over like crazy and kept fouling Marquette

It's true, the season is young, and Plummer and Payne could turn out to be good. However, yesterday Illinois posters were already drawing conclusions about Michigan's PG after two games, so it seems only fair the same logic be applied to Illinois.

Payne looks to be exactly what he was at Florida at this point. Plummer seems to be the player most of us expected him to be. Could that change? Yes.

Heading to New Orleans in a couple weeks to meet some college buddies. One of them will be down there for awhile for an AMC series. Just sold off some of my Purdue game position in exchange for one them paying for my hotel. The line moving down 4.5 pts spooking me even though I doubled up.

Here is Curbelo's last 9 minutes. And Underwood didn't sit him down once.

What’s funny is it was right before that really and stretch when you said “I haven’t watched the full game but Illinois looks better when Curbelo is off the court”. You are a prophet.
