How is saying that they came in second and went to the sweet 16 white knighting? You said they were the most underachieving team. You’re going full ******. Which isn’t shocking since you were already half way there.
Because that team should’ve went farther in my opinion. You shit on Turgeon all the time on here but race to his defense when I bring up how he underachieved with his most talented team.

You count the number of times Painter has under achieved in the tournament?

When did IU finish dead last in the BT? You off your meds again Gil?

Iowa, as a program, sucks big fat donkey balls.
in Fran's 1st season. when Iowa went 4-14 Indiana went 3-15 in the 10-11 season. then in the 13-14 season Purdue finished dead last
then in the 14-15 season Rutger joined the league and took over the bottom of the BT
in that 4-14 season they tied for 11th with Minnesota and Illinois. check out the season again, maybe you need to start taking meds.

You know that coach for IU that year isn’t at IU any longer, right?

How many times has Iowa won the B10? How many Final Fours has Iowa been to? What’s your average finishing place in the B10?

Iowa is a garbage program. End. Of. Story.

Yup. That's why I thought it was really weird to see all the Purdue fans jump on those comments we made. Maybe it's because they don't always get 5*/high 4* type guys and don't understand? Who knows...
You said he was “for sure” a 2-3 yr player. In general, expectations (not the player’s, but the public’” on five star McD guys are 1-2 yrs. Even when Purdue got Biggie, the expectation was for 1-2 yrs. I don’t know why you would take offense to that.

3 FF's with a 2nd place finish
lets see 10th, 7th, 6th,6th, 3rd, 3rd, 5th, 11th and 6th. 5.8th place avg.
doesn't look like a garbage program, except in your mind. 3-4 in NCAAT games
3 NIT games reaching the NIT Championship game, that makes 7 post season appearance out of 9 seasons under Fran HMMM to me finishing in the bottom 4 and not making the Post season is Garbage

Yeah, and I think that’s right. Not sure why all the Purdue posters, only, questioned that and attributed it to not being as good as advertised. It was really weird.

Fran has never been to a Final Four. He’s a garbage coach. Your program is dogshit. Face it, Gil.

Well, some of us, including myself, stopped paying much attention to him after it was clear that he wasn’t going to be a Boiler, so if he didn’t develop much the last year, it was news to us. Obviously he isn’t a Zion and RJ type, but he is still rated a 5* guy, won Mr. Basketball, and made the McD roster, so expectations should still be pretty high I would think.

Expectations are certainly high. However, I don’t think he’s a one and done. I think it’s way more likely here’s here for three years than one.

This thread needs a post from @ConvenientParking to break up the nonsense. Here's one:

"I have carney (not carnal) knowledge about corn, bro. I have lived all but 2 years of 30 in Iowa. I have been on one actual farm in Iowa (have an uncle who broke free from the broke urban white Catholic stranglehold of working in meat packing plants or at John Deere). What you know as corn is sweet corn. Sweet corn is basically a garden vegetable novelty in Iowa. Field corn is a different thing. Florida and Georgia actually grow incredible early season sweet corn. I was a child carney working mostly just state of Iowa events all over when I learned this. We had a sweet corn roaster and could pump out dozens and dozens of fresh ears per hour if the demand was there. Prior to late June, all of the sweet corn was supplied by the less famous farmers of Florida and Georgia. I don't know ag, but I do know that. I don't know much, but I do know that."

True. It definitely doesn't go to Iu. Having a big like tjd for 3 years automatically disqualifies you.
Zeller, Vonleh, Bryant.

How many big men from Purdue are actually in the NBA? You’d think Big Man U would actually have some big men in the NBA. Lololol

I wonder how his partying life is going

It's worth saying again, Indiana and Maryland are the shit stain in the underwear of the Big 10.

When it comes to athletics that award goes to Purdue (3 national titles) and Rutgers (1 national title)

But when you take away Iowa’s one dominant sport, which is men grappling squeezing and pinning one another to the ground, which I am sure is a typical Saturday night for you along with a couple cases of Bud Ice, Iowa is a worse athletic program than Purdue.

Triggered shit stain. RollLaugh

You offer nothing in football, basketball, wrestling, etc...

The only thing you offer is baseball, which the Big 10 is horrible at. If you weren't a founding member, I would vote to kick you out.

Neither Indiana or Iowa are founding members

I thought you guys were. Well, you need to be kicked out then.

The tea is exceptional this morning. I’d link the Spider-Man pointing meme but I’m on mobile.
