Where'd I say Gillis was a shooter? Sure it sucks not making the FF in 40 years but I like where the program is at right now. Painter making it to the E8 with arguably his 4th or 5th best roster at Purdue gives me hope for the future of the program.

I brought up seeing it with more attempts and Cline obviously excelled. Never said he wasn’t a good shooter.
Comparing that to a high schooler who took 21 threes as a sophomore then had a really good junior year but hasn’t played a game since April 2018 I’d say is a bit different. Never found a thing about him being an excellent shooter beforehand just that he had continued to improve which is what you want to see.

Yeah, he came out and said it was down to Memphis and IU. From what I've read it sounds like Memphis is the likely destination. Hoping that changes now with the former Duke commit expressing interest in Memphis. We'll find out Friday.
