For IU: Smith, Durham, Green, Phinisee, Anderson: 129 for 381 @ 33.9%
for PU: Haarms, Boudreaux, Wheeler, Stefanovic, Hunter: 82 for 243 @ 33.7%
IU's returning players have taken and made more threes at a higher clip than Purdue's returning players. So again, not sure why you made the comment you did referencing IU considering they return statistically better shooters.
I'm not convinced at this point that either of the teams freshman will contribute in a big way from 3 this year. I also think that Newman, Franklin and Thompson are all comparable shooters at this point. They all shot pretty well this past year.
