Yeah I was referring to Bull saying that in March lol
I would like to see that quote. If so i'll put it in the same category as my Bell posts.

I think most folks simply assumed Brohm to UL would happen even though there were a lot of reasons why he’d stay at Purdue.
No “to be fairs” or “at the time” allowed. Shit takes. Own them.

who is this player? as there as nothing been said or even talked about. the only player that is in the transfer portal is SR to be Dailey and Cook has hired a agent for the NBA draft.
the only rumor that I read is he may test the NBA again and nothing more. this will be his 4th year as a starter, other than the NBA there is no reason for him to leave.Rumor is moss.

he did it last year. so no surprise he is doing it this year,Moss test the NBA. Laughing

As a player, you meant. He’s not making the NBA. He sucks

Not in the portal yet if he does indeed transfer.who is this player? as there as nothing been said or even talked about. the only player that is in the transfer portal is SR to be Dailey and Cook has hired a agent for the NBA draft.
Dailey is listed in the Transfer list barring a waiver he will sit 1 year with 1 year to play. Not in the portal yet if he does indeed transfer.

Joe is doing the same thing as Cook and Moss did last spring, its not that hard to imagine as he was rated #42 by Rivals in spite of what he did last summer
Nike top 100 3rd best SF
NBPA top 100 top 10 overall
Adidas end of season rated top 8 overall
played on Team USA in Europe last spring.
2 time Iowa Gatorade POY and was Iowa's Mr. BB, the only other Iowa player to do that was Barnes a 5* that went to UNCheats a elite team
he had all the accolades to be rated higher than he was, problem is he never received a offer from a elite team to justify a high rating.

"What's your favorite color, Gil?"
He put up fine numbers. I’d say he was ranked correctly at 42.Dailey is listed in the Transfer list barring a waiver he will sit 1 year with 1 year to play.

Iowa was in the top 25 for a period of time reaching as high as 17th,He put up fine numbers. I’d say he was ranked correctly at 42.
I mean, c’mon, he was the 4th option on an unranked team.
Not a whole lot of what you just said had anything to do with what I said.Iowa was in the top 25 for a period of time reaching as high as 17th,
Cook was a 4* #38 by ESPN and he led the team in scoring and rebounding
Garza was a Top 100 4* by ESPN and was #2 in scoring
Jordan has been scoring in 3 Seasons
Joe was in his 1st season and ended up with stats like these
11.1 ppg, its also not just about scoring, 2nd in rebounding with 172, 31 steals 3rd on the team, 16 blocks, shooting 48.8% from the field. 42.4% from 3 and 76.7% From the FTL. Joe was a big reason why Iowa improved from 242 to 111th in adjusted defense, he was the ultimate team player. not bad on a team with these as 4* players by Rivals and ESPN,
PG Jordan by ESPN
SG Moss by ESPN
SF Joe by both
PF Cook by both
C Garza by both
PG Connor by both,
Cook is leaving but these are replacing him
4* F 6'9 Patrick by both
4* PG Toussaint by ESPN
now we wait till Fran finishes recruiting this spring and summer.
just like White was rated as a unranked 3* and as a FR earned FR AA honors and these were his JR statsNot a whole lot of what you just said had anything to do with what I said.
Joe Wieskamp. A good player. I think worthy of his top 50 ranking. Do I think he is deserving of being, say, top 20. No, he’s not. He’s a solid player and will be good for Iowa, and may in the future develop into a really good player. But I’d say he was ranked correctly.
Again, he was the 4th option on a bubble team. And yes they almost beat Tennesee, but they were still on the bubble.
Ohio State picked up an intriguing big man today ( Ibrahimi Diallo ). Have my doubts he’d be a big contributor next year but perhaps he’ll develop. Seems to have all the physical tools you’d want but think he’s only played a year or two.
He’s certainly a massive human. I assume that this commitment probably takes OSU out for Brunk.
I don’t believe Osu was ever a consideration for Brunk but yes I believe barring a surprise departure Osu’s 2019/20 roster should be set.
Again really nothing you said has anything to do with what I’m saying.just like White was rated as a unranked 3* and as a FR earned FR AA honors and these were his JR stats
11.1 ppg, 5.7 ppg 31 steals and 23 steals shooting 50.4% from the field, 27.9% from 3 and 69.9 from the FTL. there were just 2 players in dbl digits scoring
Joe played with 3 other Dbl digit scorers.
and you ignore that Iowa went from 14 total wins to 23 wins and 4 BT wins to 10, improving the adj defense from 242 to 111, they were not in no way shape or form a bubble team,
just like the 19-20 team will be better than the 18-19 team was
Holtmann met with him this past week
NGAFthis could be the starter and backups before any newcomers
PG 6'1 SR Jordan backup 6'5 RSSO Connor
SG 6'5 RSSR Moss backup 6'4 RSFR Fredrick
SF 6'6 SO Joe backup 6'9 FR Patrick
PF 6'11 JR Garza backup 6'8 RSJR Pemsl
C 7'0 RSSO Nunge backup 6'9 Kriener
PG 5'11 FR Toussaint
Nunge and Garza will be the Waite and Kraftism for Fran just like they were the twin Towers under Lute that led Iowa to their shared BT Championship as JR's, then as SR's led them to the FF.
That FF team had a FR in Bobby Hanson who went on to play in the NBA and ended up with a NBA Championship ring, Bobby was not even the best player out of Iowa that honor went to Mark Gannon.
Joe and Bobby are very close in the way they play, Bob was 6'5 vs Joe who is 6'6.
take off you Iowa haters glasses off for once.
yes he was. what he did proved that he was grossly under ratedAgain really nothing you said has anything to do with what I’m saying.
Do you really think Wieskamp was underrated at 42?
I’d say 10 seed is a bubble team.

I’m not as impressed with Adidas AAU circuits because there is less high level competition. Almost no highly ranked recruits play Adidas circuits. You are citing all these things where he was ranked top ten, but not every prospect did it!yes he was. what he did proved that he was grossly under rated
made the USA Team that played in Europe
Nike top 100 camp 3rd best SF
NBPA top 100 Camp top 10 player and NBPA all Tournament Team.
Adidas AAU led his team to the Championship in June
Adidas end of season AAU led his team that was shorthanded to the Championship Game
Adidas listed his as a top 8 Player on their AAU Circuit and the Adidas Select All Star team
led his HS team to the state championship game
his HS team went win less this past season W/O him and they returned everybody but Joe. his season stats while being DBL and Triple teamed W/O a shot clock' 33.5 ppg
so yes he was grossly under rated simply because he didn't get that elite offer, the same for Connor and Patrick to justify a higher rating,
this could be the starter and backups before any newcomers

Adam Jardy who covers Osu for the Columbus dispatch said Holtmann won’t wouldn’t go after Brunk but instead wanted former Buckeye Daniel Giddens if they didn’t land Diallo.
Cook was a 4* and #38 Overall and 8th best PF by ESPN and led the team in scoring and rebounding and he was a 3rd year starter, and avg'd dbl digit all 3 yearsI’m not as impressed with Adidas AAU circuits because there is less high level competition. Almost no highly ranked recruits play Adidas circuits. You are citing all these things where he was ranked top ten, but not every prospect did it!
When compared to every prospect, he ranked 42. That’s good. He’s a good player. But Joe Wieskamp is not a 5 star prospect. He’s not a one and done player, which is good for Iowa!
Look, Gil, I’m not hating on Iowa or hating on Joe, I think he’s a great young player in the Big Ten. He came in a high 4 star. Which I think was correct. He’s not a 5 star player. If he was, he wouldn’t be the 4th option on a middle of the pack Big Ten team.
He’s not a 5 star one and done prospect. He’s already ranked 42, which is good. That’s all I’m saying.Cook was a 4* and #38 Overall and 8th best PF by ESPN and led the team in scoring and rebounding and he was a 3rd year starter, and avg'd dbl digit all 3 years
Jordan was a 3rd year starter and avg'd dbl digit scoring all 3 years
Garza top 100 4* by ESPN and 4* by Rivals avg'd dbl digit scorer his 1st 2 years.
Moss was a 3rd year starter finishing 5th in scoring
Joe was a 1st year starter. and avg'd dbl digit scoring
which of these should have not got the playing time to lead the team in every stat.Cook, Jordan or Garza. all 3 played key roles in that 23 win team,
with Cook gone Joe will take over as a major player, but the leader of this team will PG Jordan Bohannon.
Cut your losses/wins, friend. You're just going to get a reply with more rankings. He’s not a 5 star one and done prospect. He’s already ranked 42, which is good. That’s all I’m saying.
