Michigan and Notre Dame don't play again for another 13 years. Nice one to hold over their head for that long.

We won’t fire him, but the fan base wants him gone. It’s been 4 seasons since the CFP, and 3/4 seasons have been atrocities.
Lack of innovation offensively along with poor recruiting has lead to this.
He brought us to heights many MSU fans only dreamed of. That said, the last few years have been very disappointing. I don’t even know what happened to the defense this year.
The recruiting is something a lot of MSU fans want to deny as an issue. Yes, when we were at our best, our top players were low ranked kids out of high school (Connor Cook, Dennard, Trae Waynes, Calhoun, etc). But that’s the exception. We are consistently middle to the bottom of the pack in recruiting, and it shows. Our O-Line is one of the worst in the Big Ten. There were clear issues last year with the coaching as well, but instead of finding new guys, he shuffled the staff. Clearly that was a fail.
I think him and the university need to part ways. The Dantonio era was a great time for MSU football, but we need better recruiting and better play calling.

If he refuses to clean out his offensive coaches yes. He won’t though. He won’t fire his buddies at the twilight stage of his career.
So yes I’d want him to be fired. every year he stays and keeps his deadbeat staff the program suffers. Start the rebuild.
Problem is our AD and President are complete nobodies and Dantonio would laugh them out of the room.

He’s 16th in field goal percentage. That’s trash for being the GOAT, but he made the big kicks in the Super Bowl. He almost lost you the game today. Tucker’s career trajectory is better, Robbie Gould never gets mentioned because he has played on trash teams. The guy(Gostkowski) that replaced him in NE is overall better.

Better to get the rough shooting out while you're still in preseason mode. Duke is supposed to be better from the perimeter this season, but we shot 2 for 16 from three yesterday. Btw, did you know you're on the clock for the draft?
