I'm sure he'll be fine. More than likely he'll be a D-1 player that ends up at Iowa. He has the advantages of learning all the nuances of the game from his dad and older brothers.
Just not a fan of pumping kids too early. There's a couple kids from the southeast that stand out to me, as far as players that got caught up in the hype. Major Wingate blew up at ABCD Camp 20 years ago. He was the #1 recruit heading into high school his freshmen year. Ended up signing with Tennessee and had a very so-so career. The other one is Seventh Woods. After his freshmen year
mixtape was released, he was a seen as a can't miss prospect - the next Russell Westbrook. After watching him these past three seasons, I think it's easy to say he's been the most overrated recruit to play for UNC this century. Dude is a turnover machine that can't shoot. Anyway, I'm sure the younger McCaffery will be fine. Just a long ways to go before anything serious materializes.
