Evelyn played with a ankle injury, Toussaint went into last summer AAU with a shoulder injury so nobody had a chance to see him fully healthy. both are 100%. the MVC is not that weak a conference as it has sent 2 teams to the FF recently in Witchita State now a part of the BE and Loyola-Chicago.
these will be the starters at the 1-2

you wish last season Iowa supposed to have a losing record and finish 10th or worse and yet they ended up 10-10 6th place alone and had 23 total wins including wins in the BTT and NCAAT. not bad for a team that was supposed not play in any post season last season.
as for this year Iowa is a 10 seed, looks to me that Iowa is in the NCAAT.
strange that Indiana is not in/on the brackett list and Wisconsin is a #11 seed in the same region as Iowa which is a 10 seed.

B1G is in shape for a lot of teams to have some good classes, which is a great thing to see.
Really wanted Dickinson but Kalkbrenner is a heck of a fallback option.
Never bad to get a top 75 player. I don't know much about him but looks like he had a nice summer to get that type of boost in the rankings.

A lot of people seem bullish that Purdue remains in the lead for Kaufman. I’ll believe it when I see it but when my coaching buddies are telling me what they’ve heard in addition to what I’ve read recently, have to feel good about that recruitment for now at least.
Definitely interesting to hear that. Have seen IU folks mention how Purdue has little to no shot with Kaufman. The truth is probably somewhere in between. But hey I didn’t think we’d get Ivey out of Mishawaka so who knows.
Was just checking the new rankings and saw IU got that wing - which appears to be old news - but thought I'd drop in to say that's about the exact type of guy I think you guys needed. Good get with a ton of upside.
As for Purdue, I'd be really happy in Kalk. Feels like he'd be very good in PNR with Ivey and Morton.
Yeah, the location isn’t ideal but there isn’t going to be the Romeo-type of pressure with this recruitment either though.

They're no more representative of the IU base as the GBI free board is of Purdue's base.
School free boards are cesspools, you should know this by now. We have heard from mods that Purdue is a serious contender but its going to be a long recruitment, he's just now entering his junior year. If he keeps improving the Dukes/UK etc will be calling.
