Actually they were 4-0. I didn’t phrase it right the first time but what I meant to say was you guys had a chance to elevate your program when Purdue was in the midst of the Hazell fiasco and build on the things that Wilson started. Instead, Purdue hired Brohm and passed IU after year 1.
Hazell didn't coach that last one that is why I said 3-0
The two programs are not tied at the hip. They mean nothing in the landscape of college football. One is mediocre the other is dreadful.
Allen has to get to a bowl this year, but If he does I am just fine with where the IU football program is headed. Couple of the best recruiting classes in program history, along with the program paying for and keeping some of their better assistants.
