Yep, I live in Cincinnati but am still a Cubs fan. I go to at least one Reds/Cubs game a year and it's always at least 40% Cub fans. If late in the season and the Res are out of it, it's more like 70/30 Cub fans.

went looking for the salaries of the BB coaches and found that Fran is only making 1.1 million dollars a year, this ties him with the NW Coach in the BT.
Izzo leads the way with 3.49 million
I guess you can say you get what you pay for, Fran will get a 400,000 dollar pay raise in July. that will move him up to 7th in the BT in pay, the only thing about this site it showed Matta as OSU's coach., tried a couple searches and that was that came up.
if the coach get paid bottom of the BT Money then that is what you should expect. if you expect better results then you have to spend more to get better results.
even Carver needs to be completely overhauled. the addition is very good but the arena has to be updated.

Infrastructure goes a long way. coaches taken care of, facilities, recruiting budget. etc.
BTW,I think Kenny Payne (UK Associate Head Coach) makes around 1m a year. Not bragging, but just trying to add to your point.

but thanks because it shows that Fran is 10th out of 14 coaches in the BT. as I posted you get what you pay for, 10th place money, you get middle of the pack at best results.
so to those that HATE Fran want him gone, my question is who is going to want to coach Iowa BB when they won't pay the amount of money to get the type of coach that you FEEL THAT YOU DESERVE.

Dr Tom did it 3 times with a 24 win season in there and yet he was run off for not winning enough.

for over 60+ years I have lived thru all 3 FF's. do I expect or demand more. NO I take it one game at a time and 1 season at a time. this season I went in with a wait and see attitude after the 4-18 BT record and was pleasantly surprised in the out come of the season being done their 5th leading scorers out due to RS'ing. next season looks to be far better than this year where they went 10-10 23-12, the majority of the people on here and on the Hawkeye msg boards were predicting 4-6 BT Wins and 14-6 total wins for the season.
and now I have to read you whiny ass bitching about not winning enough games.

I don't remember him wearing anything during his prep years, but admittedly didn't follow him as closely as other guys knowing he wasn't gonna end up in WL.
