I feel like this is how most of us view this place. Not actual friends, but e friends. It’s the same dudes talking and giving each other shit.

I can guarantee most don’t consider the three of you as any type of friend. This place would be so much bettter if we could vote you all off the island. Now proceed to call me names like the 12 year olds you are

That is still rough. Never been a head coach, never recruited a day in his life.

At least Penny was the head coach for an AAU team.

Good college career, great NBA career, NBA assistant coaching experience (and getting HC interest) AAU ties, Chicago ties, Michigan ties.

Could do a lot worse it terms of upside when you're looking for a coach 4 months before practice starts.

Bold doesn't have anything to do with coaching, but you're right you could do worse. Between the two I would take my chances with Shaka though. Its a lot harder to fire an alumnus.

Nah, give me Howard. We don't know he can't coach yet. We already know what Shaka offers.

Oh and I think saying his nba career has nothing to do with coaching is a bit harsh. The guy played in the NBA until he was 39 and was able to do that because he was a cerebral player. While that doesn’t mean he will be a good head coach, it’s more than nothing.
