I’m saying this in a nice way, so don’t take it harshly. I don’t care what makes random people on a message board cringe. Especially people like @pig1960. In fact, his post is likely to have the exact opposite effect he intended, as you can see already.
But Hails point stands. If it offends him, why wouldn’t you just say darn it, damn it, shoot, son of a bitch, or the countless other words you can substitute for the f word. Don’t dismiss his post while expecting everyone else to take yours seriously.
Or......don’t let insignificant words offend you. Sticks and stones man.

More than a couple of the regular posters here are clearly sexist, racist and homophobic and exhibit the behavior of 10 year olds. IRL I haven’t heard the term *** or ****** used for thirty years. It’s a go to term for a couple of dumbasses here - typically the same guys who are internet stalkers.

Thats a terrible attempt at an explanation. Someone here got offended by a word used. Someone else got offended by another word here. There is no difference. The only difference is one is offensive to you. The other is not. You want to police others use of specific words but refuse to reciprocate when asked.

You have it backwards. When you are behind closed doors with good friends, that is exactly when you can be non-PC. I have close friends of every type of background, and we give each other a lot of sht (other than the n-word) that we would never say in a public setting.
