I'm betting Iowa is no better than this year, and they're possibly worse. A worse B10 is the only reason their record will be better.

I also think that JW is looking for any excuse to stay in the draft though, so that influences my decision making.
Weiskamp is a four year player, damn it! Hawkeyes on his belly.

Weiskamp put on some weight:

That reminds about that one tweet from the same Frankie vision guy this season. Romeo had like 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists, and he said he flirted with a triple double. Guy quoted him: "I flirted with Rihanna today by liking her Instagram post." LMFAOOOO

My total cop-out preseason rankings with rosters not final:

Tier 1 - MSU
Tier 2 - Maryland, Purdue, Illinois, OSU, IU, Iowa, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota
Tier 3 - PSU, Rutgers, Nebraska, Northwestern

We finish better than 10th. Book it. I really think top half.

I think we got y'all beat. The Billy Donovan shit on the IU boards after Crean was fire was pure entertainment. People were tracking flights, spotting his wife in Bloomington (LOL) and essentially stalking him. It was awesome.

Sounds like your specialty.

I have heard and seen Donovans name pop up. He apparently is still interested in coaching in college, Indiana was just too much of a powder keg environment for him with the crazy fans and admins expectations.
Lol. I'm sure you heard this....

35th at KenPom and lost to a 2 seed in the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament. If that's awful.......
I had a buddy who is an assistant at a D1 school. He has said for a long time that Scott Drew is the dirtiest coach in all of college basketball. Doesn't mean he's a bad coach, just that he's not a fan of staying within the rules.

He has a love for Romeo that would make Juliet jealous.

Welcome back!

Purdue is one of the worst teams in the Big Ten this year and Texas was at home. Not that impressive.

One of the worst teams in the Big 10 was a bit strong but they are definitely a back half of the Big 10 team this year.

Michigan
MSU
Nebraska
IU
Wisconsin
OSU
Maryland all look better to me

Even Minnesota, Iowa, and Northwestern have all had their moments, I see Purdue fighting it out with them for 8th place or so.

Purdue has a great class coming in and will likely be fine going forward. But like I said coming into the year, anybody that actually thought this Purdue team as anything but a bubble team is simply delusional.

You can't lose what they lost (adding in Painter's struggles in recruiting the last few years) while not missing a beat, it just won't happen. I was laughing at some of you who actually thought Purdue would stay in the top 25. There simply isn't enough talent there.

They will lose every game that he has an off night, and with that much of a workload he willl have plenty. There simply isn't any talent around him and like I said coming into the season, Purdue is an NIT club at best this year. Nobody is going to score 40 points on 25 shots every night with teams keying on him. Simply nobody, and even with that performance they still lost to Texas.

Carson is a stud I'll give you that, I don't know how I forgot about him. I don't get the love for Eastern, he's simply a bad basketball player. Can't shoot, can't score, terrible free throw shooter, and has a terrible assist to turnover ratio for a point guard. He is tall, defends well against players his size, and that's really it.

I've seen nothing out of Haarms that says he's as athletic as anyone I named. He's 7"3 and he averages 4 rpg, that's abysmal. All of the guys I named average at least 3rpg and two of them are point guards.

2 of your starters ( Haarms, Eifert) and your 6th man (Boudreaux) look like they belong in the YMCA league. Purdue lacks talent, I mean you're 6-5 I don't know why you're arguing this.

Last year IU lacked talent and I was the first to admit it, we were a bad basketball team. I don't think we're great this year by any means. We are better than Purdue though no question.
