just saw where OSU Bates-Diop just declared for the draft but no other info, some help on whether he has signed with a agent yet.

also on the Iowa front Connor just had his medical hardship granted and that makes him a RSFR in both BB and Baseball in the 18-19 season.

have a question on scholarship rules
BB player Wagner supposedly can't practice with the FB team while still on a BB Scholarship but supposedly if he was on a FB Scholly he could play BB at the same time.

please explain

Posted a link here earlier. KBD is getting an agent immediately, he said. He’s been told he’s a mid-late first rounder. Already graduated.

The only way Muss leaves is if the Martin twins bolt in my opinion. If all return they are looking like a preseason top 15 team.

Wow. Talk about taking the transfer crown from Iowa State and Oregon and going all out.

I just saw their roster on sports-reference and they had four all conference caliber guys from low major sitting out this season. Looks like Muss only had nine guys on ship who could play.

They will be tough next year if nobody bolts.

Kenpom tweeted out his top 10 (11) for next year and Maryland came in at 11th. This is assuming everybody returns and Mo VVagner leaves for the NBA. If he returns Michigan has to open as the favorite for the conference next year.

I believe Kenpom is assuming Wagner is staying in his model as he only accounts for top 40 underclassmen on Draft Express and Mo checks in below.

Michigan is probably in the 4-8 range with no departures, which makes me puzzled on Ken's computer numbers.

Nova, KU and Duke will be hands down top 3.

Really? Thats very interesting. I assumed no Michigan meant he assumed he was leaving.

Could be a matter of semantics. He says his numbers are based off all top 40 leaving, but perhaps he is hedging his thoughts on those in the 41-100 range.

He also doesn't have Tennessee in his top 11 despite the Vols returning 90% production from their #13 squad in his rankings.

I think he has the Terps about right. Figure 8-15 range if they all stay.

Haha. I like to make my drive-by points on the free board from time-to-time, but I'm not going to try and ether a player's mom. I think she's doing him a disservice by continuing to post things like that on there, but I'm sure she is just doing what she thinks is best for him and trying to defend him.

Not gonna fault a parent for being involved and going to bat for her son, even if it's misguided in execution.

But the rest of those slack-jawed tools can go play in traffic for suggesting Painter should even be on a lukewarm seat after a 30-win season.

The good news for Purdue fans is having studied the advanced offensive and defensive stats of the returners and having analyzed Aaron Wheeler and the frosh, Purdue appears to be an absolute lock to go dancing again and a favorite to end up as a top 4 team in the conference.

Have to love this nugget from that thread.

Having analyzed the inside of his own ass with his entire head, it's a surprise he hasn't come to the conclusion that he's full of shit.

The only recent update there would be if he suddenly found it.
I just went and read your post on GBI. I got a good chuckle at her response. Man, can't believe she is still on the free board. Lots of crazies over there. I honestly can't imagine what a parent would think if they read IU's premium board, let alone the free board. Not a place for "good" basketball discussions for parents of players, especially after a loss.

Yeah, I figured someone would have suggested she take a break from posting there by now. Guess not.

CJ Walker transferring from Florida State. First a Purdue recruit but they had no sauce.

I personally would take him in a heartbeat.

?

Michigan will be extremely deep.

You'll have a nice starting 5 if Wagner returns. Beyond that is nothing but inexperience. If Wagner leaves, which he should, you'll still have a nice starting 5 but inexperience behind it still. Either way you'll be fine. But Wagner is a big piece.

Huh? Teske and Livers will have quite a bit of experience.

Let's assume Wagner leaves, along with MAAR, DR, and JS (I'm assumming Simmons is gone as he's listed as a SR on ESPN. Maybe that's not right).

Starters

Simpson
Poole
Mathews
Livers
Teske

I don't see anything behind that. Watson has played a little.

? We would be preseason top 5 with good depth. Teske and Livers get a lot of run on a final 4 team and I dont think either start next year (if Wagner returns).

Johns is a top 50 recruit that won’t start.

Jordan Poole, Ibi Watson, Eli Brooks, and Isaiah Livers, Jon Teske?

Yeah, there are some good players, but I doubt they'd be better than many starting 5's.

Those are their potential starters. He said their backups would be better than others starters. That's Gil Level underwater 4d chess.

I think Poole starts.

I didn’t say many, I said some.

Livers and Teske would both be 6th man of the year front runners. Brandon Johns is a top 50 recruit. The guards would be shaky but serviceable.

Well my statement really only makes sense with Wagner returning because that moves Teske to the bench and Teske should be one of the better bigs in the conference next season. He is an elite defender that has stepped up big for Michigan this postseason.

I also fully expect Brazdeikas to start by conference season. He is the real deal. That would move Livers to the bench.

It doesn't make sense either way you slice it but you're riding high.
