I'll be honest, I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not.
You know what's crazy? That the 5th seed in the BIG is a lock for the NCAA Tournament, but the 4th seed is in the bubble. Also, Illinois or Iowa beating Michigan would hurt Nebraska severely more than it would Michigan
Not really. Tons of teams play nobody. Beat nobody.
Our resume is better than Nebraska's and we have 17 losses.
They are being so dumb right now. Rumor is that he is either transferring to Missouri or entering the NBA Draft and going to the NBA G League. They're also saying several other players are unhappy as well and are looking to transfer. We might get close to not being able to put a team out there if all the rumors are true. I highly doubt they are of any substance, though. Maybe we see 1-2 transfer out, but until it happens, it's just talk
That’s true. But I believe the B1G will get 5 teams in. Not sure about that 5th team TBD by B1G tourney probably.
Speaking of fan bases being dumb, a big thing on our home board is this irrational downplaying of Happ's value...essentially b/c he's a shitty FT shooter. Annoying as shit.

Yep, the debate has come up a couple times this season there. I don't think it's a Purdue only thing though, as I saw a tweet by one of the BTN guys saying he doesn't understand the criticism either.
Imagine how dominant Happ would be at the 5 for this Purdue team.
Probably not unlike last year when we could surround him with 4 shooters, although hayes sucked ass in that regard mainly.

This Purdue team can spread the floor much better than that Wisconsin team could, and I think Happ has taken a nice leap this year as well. Regardless, dumb hypothetical...but he's a great player and I really don't see why there seem to be so many Happ truthers out there.
I completely agree with this. Happ with as much room as Purdue's shooters would provide would be lethal.
I honestly need to stop responding to some of them. The refusal to accept any statistical or otherwise objective analysis of Happ just shows they are arguing in bad faith with a healthy bias.
Yep agree. When I used advanced stats (assist/rebound percentage) I was told to use "real stats." I'm done engaging them on the home board on this topic.
No one can argue with his production........in the end that's all that matters.
Plays hard all the time, good/great rebounder, defender, passer.
I just don't care for his offense. He basically backs the defender down and down and down.....picks up his dribble.....and works off the pivot to get off a shot, sometimes using the shot fake. It works, it's very effective, just don't care for it. He has few offensive skills but does a lot with what he has.
