yes I am, as this team could have just mailed in the rest of the season. they kept coming out swinging in these games.

most would have just given up and what Bohannon did by missing that free throw shows a lot of class.
Completely agree, especially the bolded part

Nitewing I have 2 questions for you:

1. There is more talk on HR of Cook and Dailey transferring because they aren't happy at Iowa, what are your thoughts?
2. How come you didn't post that much in the 2nd half of the game?

My all conference first team would be

Ethan Happ
Keita Bates Diop
Jaren Jackson JR
Juwan Morgan
Carsen Edwards

But I think the all conference team will end up being

Ethan Happ
Keita Bates Diop
Miles Bridges
Carsen Edwards
Ca$$ius Winston

Carsen Edwards not even good enough for honorable mention?

Lol Damn.

Thats why i said pretty close, last 4 years with the 14 team schedule the B1G winners csos was ranked:

2018-14th
2017-11th
2016-13th
2015-14th

You look at the entirety of Kenpom and 9 of the last 17 had the easiest, 11 of the 17 seasons they had the 1st or 2nd easiest, 1st, 2nd or 3rd easiest, 14 out of 17 years. I just find it hard to complain with the CSOS, its going to change year to year and can't even be predicted based on preseason predictions. The team who wins doesn't have to play the best team at all, that'll always help SOS.
Don't disagree. I think one of the Wisconsin titles (don't remember which one and don't have time to look) had an inordinately easy schedule compared to the other contenders but generally conference SOS isn't enough to push it over the top.

If Purdue wanted the title this year, we shouldn't have shit the bed at Wisconsin. If OSU wanted it, they shouldn't have shit the bed twice against PSU.

JJJ doesn’t deserve 1st team. He had a good year but not 1st team good.

You aren’t taking into account defense. He is easily the best defensive player in the conference this year. Offense gets all the media attention, but defense is half the game. He probably won’t get it, but IMO he is the best player on the outright Big Ten champs.

Jesus that’s quite the indictment of B1G pg play isn’t it?
Well, he is the best shooter 3 point shooter and has the best vision in the Big Ten. He also has some ability to drive. I’m really exited for next year, where he will be the face of the team.

But right now, I think you have to give it to Tony Carr. He has been great this year. Cassius is second, though.

I think he will be on 2nd or 3rd, but 100% deserves first team. Best player on best team.

Defensive players never get the respect hey deserve
Exp-Ben Wallace 4 time DPOY, not considered a top 20 center
People saying Draymond Green shouldn’t even be an all star.
Tony Allen can’t even get a good contrac

It happens all the time.

Laughing are you still hating?

Winston's national rankings:

#9 Offensive Rating in NCAA
#5 Total Assists in NCAA
#4 True Shooting % in NCAA
#10 Assists Per Game in NCAA
#3 Assist% in NCAA
#3 Offensive Box Plus/Minus in NCAA

And he shot over 56% from 3, on 4 attempts per game.

What? He’s saying that means the PG’s are having a down year, not disagreeing with the statement. I get it’s early, but just use your brain.
I am and I am wondering what makes you say he is the best 3 point shooter in the league?

Bohannon has a say in this
last season just 1 of 2 PG's in the last 25 years to make 85+ 3's and have 175 assists as a FR

this season he is the only one to record over 80 made 3's and record over 150 assist as a FR and SO.

don't see the great Cassius listed. now do you?

But according to Matt a team of
Junior Cash
Senior Quaido
Junior Josh Langford
Senior Kenny Goins (possibly Sophmore X, but probably not because of spacing)
Junior Nick Ward
Will finish 10th in the Big Ten.

Uhh, he has the highest 3 point percentage in the league? That’s what I’m using. He also has the most assist per game and is extremely efficient. Bohannon averages per game less assists and has a worse 3 point percentage. There is no way Bohannon is better than Cash

Cash also does this on the Outright Big Ten championship team. Iowa is 12th

Winston 70 of 124
Bohannon 88 of 205 in 31 games vs last season 89 of 214 in 34 games.

lets consider who Winston was playing with vs who Bohannon was playing with

also Bohannon was playing with a foot injury call planteria and has one who had the same injury said. its like having a knife stuck into the bottom of your foot.

Surprised that Davison was runner-up over Frazier. Frazier was the superior player in almost every category except rebounding and free throws.

Winston is a lot more efficient, and he leads in percentage. Bohannon takes way more because he is playing for Iowa.

What does the foot injury mean to me? Oh, he must be the better 3 point shooter because he had a foot injury. Cash is the better player, and the better shooter. Ask literally anyone who would they rather have on there team, they would pick Cash.

Freshman team is 4 big men and a forward? Not happening. Davison and Frazier will both be on it. Especially considering Davison got a runner-up nod.

MSU has 2 potential 1st round NBA picks in the 2018 draft.

Iowa has no potential NBA Draft picks and as I pointed out Bohannon was playing with a foot injury the 1st 26 games. in that 26 games he had 11 steals the last 5 games he has 10, his agility and speed has improved.

Please respond to what I’m saying and not spout useless facts. Who would you rather have as your teams point guard, Cash or Bohannon.

I don't think they use positions. I believe the media and coaches pick three guys for the freshman and defensive teams, and the top five vote-getters are selected.

But I would definitely have both Davison and Frazier on the all-freshman team.
