I love this team and want them to win just as much if not more than you. Now could we please put our differences aside and get along from now on?
As I said, I'd put him at around the 25th best player in-conference. JFC you guys have an inferiority complex.
Lindsey for NW is 6-8 from 3. Mathias of Purdue went 7-9 from 3 today, its raining 3's.
We clearly view the guy differently, and that's fine. But just one final data point to consider: in the past 25 seasons of B1G basketball, only 32 guys have posted a 12.0-4.0-4.0 stat line - and there are three guys who have done it this year; Mathias is one of them.
I will bet a good amount of money that he'll be at least honorable mention when the all-conference teams are announced tomorrow afternoon.

Clearly. I think he benefits greatly from the players around him. He's solid in his role, but he's not a player that could be the focal point of an offense.
