Title says it all. game is supposed to be on ABC, but its not on Directv. There’s a message on the screen saying the game is available on all these alternative channels on Comcast and several other providers, but nothing about Directv.

WTF is this bullshit?

I watched it on DirecTV. Purdue had a hell of a run to finish the game

yea it was on DTV national, but not carried in the Chicago area.

Hey question for you @hawkit3113 , do you have DTV dish? If you do, do you have issues with the sound and the picture not matching up all the time? I've already had them replace my receiver 3x because of this issue and it is still a problem.

Also, I notice that during some games the action stutters a bit.

Very annoyed with DTV and about to pull the plug.

I'm considering YouTube tv or Hulu live. It's amazing how crappy the local channels are here specifically for sports. Tried watching a CFB game on abc and it was like watching a 1990's box tv with the field lines glitching like the lines on an old tv. Just a square instead of full screen.

Other channels are better, but still not HD. Compare that to Hulu live it's all HD.

I have had good luck with the service, but I pay way to much. Gonna cut the cord.

Don't know what that is. Can you DVR games from it? I only watch sporting events on delay so I can fast forward through all the commercials, free throws, dribbling, reviews etc.
It's a streaming service for live tv. Basically the same as cable/dish/but streaming. It has unlimited DVR, Local channels, ESPN,2,News,U,Fox, SEC/ACCN, CBSsports, etc. Plus you can have 6 accounts on the one bill. So family can have their on unlimited DVR and it plays on basically every device. $70 a month. 10 extra for 4k channels, but there's not that many.

I think they have a week free trial. I live in Memphis and I've not missed a UK game in 4 years of having it.

Plus you have access to WatchESPN for games not on the channels.

tv.youtube.com

One thing I do with games and the unlimited DVR. I searched NCAA Basketball (and football,NBA,NFL) and just added it to my list. Every college game that comes on is in my library. I think they expire after a couple of years.

*one last thing. It's month to month. No contracts. I sometimes cancel during the summer and then get it back with football season starts. All my recordings are still there.

I tried hulu but they have a cap on DVR and can't do six different accounts for family. Some love it, just not for me.

What about HBO and Showtime? I watch alot of shows on them

How about Disney?
I had to look. With their guide, you can choose which channels to show up and which not to. I don't watch Disney so I took it off my live guide, (you can also reorder them where favorite channels are at the top).

Anyway, I looked it has Disney, Disney XD, and Junior in the base package.

Thanks for the breakdown, that sounds really good. I'm going to look into it this weekend and sign up for the free trial to give it a whirl.

Are you using a receiver to play your sound through? I had a sync issue with my audio and video and I was able to adjust the audio "delay" in the receiver to sync the two. Lots of different devices have this sort of thing to mess with.
