People give BP shit for stuff he’s done in the past, some of it warranted, the Iowa stuff mainly, the BBQ stuff was laughable. One thing you can’t say about him is that he doesn’t love his players.

I've always liked Bruce Pearl in an unironic way. He has so much energy and charisma, he adds a lot to college basketball.
The only thing that pissed me off more than seeing Auburn as KU’s 5 was seeing NM St choke that game away.
Murphy’s Law never ceases to bite KU.
I've always liked Pearl coaches hard, plays an exciting brand of basketball and works as hard on the sidelines as the guys playing the game.
