Oh my.

153 wins by UK to UT’s 72. Last year Tennessee lost to UK in the finals of the SEC, I did not see the Vols kicking ass. It was a down year for UK last year and an up year for UT. I expect Tennessee to be competitive this year, but I expect UK to have a better team than last.

Plus UK was the youngest team in the NCAA and Vanderbilt missed the first and last part of the season, yet he was drafted into the NBA.

Maybe you should be posting in the UK top overall team in SEC history thread instead of the UK getting the crap beat out of them by UT last year and UT being picked ahead of UK this year thread?
BTW, y'all are always the youngest team in the SEC cause y'all are a farm league,one and done team every year.

then flaming out in the NCAAT and not even getting past the first weekend losing to an 11 seed
all with the best team UT has had in two decades

I think they have a higher ceiling this year, but they also have a lower floor than you all do this year. Since 80% of their team was planning for a prom 2 month's ago.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but I'm not understanding why any Kentucky fan is trying to bring last year into the argument. Because the majority of minutes played last year is gone.

I'm not necessarily talking about your comment, more just a general comment about what's been said in this thread from a lot of Kentucky fans.

the majority of minutes is gone almost every year at UK
that has not slowed UK down from dominating the SEC, so that argument is mute

Yeah, you did. You missed the fact that they won the SEC and finished three games ahead of you. And beat you at home. Kentucky has no argument for being the better team last year.

You can get into the semantics of the word "win" in my post, but its seeming like you're the one spinning it here. You automatically assumed that by me saying "win" that I meant a championship.

Truth is, I really didn't remember if the post I was referring to gave an actual number. However, I did/do remember that he was using the past history of Kentucky basketball to help argue why Kentucky would finish ahead of Tennessee.

i think in the SEC UK finishes first and UT finishes second
if both teams are on opposite sides of the NCAAT brackets both have a real chance to make the FF
