March 28th Sweet 16 Thursday game threads

Oh, are you still stewing over what I said? I thought we moved on from that.

It's just my opinion man.

I’m not stewing. It’s a basketball game. My team played today. We are talking basketball in a basketball board. Seems pretty normal.

I get that it’s just one opinion. I’m providing stats to show you (and others) that your opinion is ill-informed. That’s how conversations work.

If I said, “PJ Washington isn’t a 3 point shooter,” I’d expect someone to point out to me that he’s a 41% 3 point shooter.

It’s not often I say a team plays better defense than we do but Texas Tech plays better defense than we do

Yes they do. Incredible D.

I was doing a podcast last night and literally said, “No offense, Virginia, because y’all play great D, but Texas Tech has the best D in the country.”

Mich has yet to score a single point outside the paint. LMAO... Punch them in the mouth and you see what they're made of mentally.

Virginia vs TTU in the finals!!

IU wasn't capable of punching them in the mouth. Mich St was. So was Iowa. TX Tech is too.

When UM gets beat, they get KO'd because they're soft.

More NCAA tournament wins than any team in the country the past two years, and a fan from a team who hasn’t made the tournament since 2016 is here yapping? Not a good look, bub.

I’m not even gonna comment on that garbage

That was not a ****ing jump ball though

Regardless of the flop, it's still a technical because of the intimidation.

IU sucks, at least until they get some shooters - what does that have to do with anything? Are Duke/UNC/Nova fans the only people allowed to express opinions?

UM led for 30 min and then choked under pressure three times vs Mich St down the stretch. Their identity was exposed the first week of March.

Mentally weak. It is what it is. No need to get mad about it now. You saw this coming....

That was a T on the UVA guy. It was a flop but the dude still almost hit him and then headbutted him. No way the Oregon guy should be punished for that.

Mentally weak? Half this team was the national runner up a year ago. You really going to double down on that?

Stats are fine. Like I said, FSU's athletesism hides a lot of flaws. If you aren't seeing what I'm talking about then that’s fine.

My opinion is they’re athletic as hell with a ton of size, but they aren't as well coached as they should be.

Gonzaga won because they were better at every aspect of the game. They were well prepared. The coaching was better.

Yes because you had cake until the final and needed a horses ass sequence to win in R32. You had zero impressive wins in the tourney last year.

Gonzaga is a better team, period. More talent at nearly every position. And Mark Few is obviously a great coach.

But FSU was playing without a starter and it’s second best ball handler. Makes a difference. Was Gonzaga less well coached last year when FSU won by 15, but Gonzaga was missing Tillie?
