It's not fair to criticize Louisville or Kenny Payne. Louisville can't be expected to beat a D2 school with talent alone. Effort aside, how could anyone expect to win a game of that magnitude with only 4 top 50 recruits in the starting lineup?

Probably no sense canning him now for an interim coach. I see them giving him the rest of the season and then he gets the boot. They won't find a new coach until after the season ends anyway, so recruiting will be screwed either way. Will be interesting to see if he comes back to UK when he does get fired, especially since they get 2 extra assistants now. 🤔
