Fans (myself included) bought the hype of the Bahamas in August. Now, it’s looking like a typical Cal team, adjusting to the speed of the college game and building chemistry in the first couple of months.
This team is going to be good. It’s just a matter of when.
I recall lots of cats fans talking down about Vermont when we beat them earlier this month. Sooo... yeah.
I get that, I just think it’s funny most thought this team would suck, when I knew they wouldn’t. As for Kentucky, you guys have tons of potential, just figuring out the pieces is key. I never said Kentucky is bad, but I recall lots of people telling me you guys were a juggernaut this year, I don’t see it. Maybe they’ll prove me wrong. Who knows, college basketball is weird like that. These kids are young.
I thought they were a juggernaut too, then November 6th happened.
Worst thing about it was, I don’t think fans were the only ones that bought the summer hype. I think those kids did too, and it’s been another month long learning experience for them to figure out that you have to play hard all 40 minutes or anyone can beat you.
Big difference ending the night with an ugly win or drowning your sorrows with a terrible loss....at home. Grimes has been worthless.
I'd say you might want to be more concerned with your team than UK right about now.
I haven’t been watching the whole game because of SEC Championship but every time I turn it back it seems Stanford gets an offensive rebound then putback or 3.
Grimes has been pretty subpar since the MSU game. Most KU freshman are pretty bad all season until February. If he starts clicking that’ll be just an added weapon.
I just want a season where our entire lineup has no glaring weaknesses, Landon Lucas’s or injuries. It’s not much to ask. Lol
I think he is hung up on a certain Mod, he's been crying like a 13 year old girl for months. It may be that time of the month.... who knows with her/him
