Kansas vs WVU Round 3....

lulz @ those idiots who said this game doesn't matter.

Both teams playing really hard. Tough, physical, entertaining basketball game.

Great first half. Now Self needs to get some cash in those refs pockets. Winking
I know, right?

To be fair though, the refs have been letting teams play physical all weekend. It does benefit WVU, but I think it’s good for us to play a game like this before the tourney.

Same guys probably live stream the KU games when they’re playing in other countries over the summer.

End of the day it really doesn’t impact seeding for the tournament that actually matters, but I want it bad as a fan, the players from both sides clearly feel the same.

I promise it matters to the players for both teams. Both teams are punching each other in the mouth, talking sh*t to each other and taking each other's best shot and still going at each other. This is high level basketball we're seeing.

Silvio having an amazing game. Kid is gonna be great!

He needs to learn not to bring the ball down when he gets it on offense and to stop throwing those soft passes. But yes he's gonna be great. A natural rebounder. Wouldn't be surprised as a junior if he's a walking double-double.

The light is definitely coming on. I'm willing to bet Self told Silvio to stop thinking and just flat out go play. He's making Lightfoot look like a high school player.....and so is Konate.

I think Lightfoot will still be the first Big off the bench in the tournament but think De Sousa has earned comparable minutes.

I tend to agree. He's been the in that position for much of the season and I'm not sure I'd change it up now.

What is big about Silvio improving is it gives us the opportunity to put two bigs on the floor once Dok gets healthy. This will especially be helpful if we play a team with length like UK

with Kansas loss couldn't it move them back below Xavier and change location as last No. 1 seed? Also if unc wins tonight it could move them to a 1, though they have 9 losses so that'd be ridiculous ... these games affect seeding, especially with it being on a saturday

I don’t think we miss a lot offensively with Dok out, but defensively it’s a huge drop off.

If Dok is set to go next week, it really is a huge deal. We need Dok back and we need to see him continue to get better. He's made some huge strides of late.

That's a good question. I still think if KU wins tonight that they will end up as the 1 seed out west. If they lose then to me there's no question KU lands in the west region.

All I wanna see is this 2nd half remain competitive and come down to the wire. I don't wanna see WVU blow KU's doors off this 2nd half and KU go into the tournament with their confidence shot.

Xavier lost to Providence how would KU fall behind them with a loss to us?

If Miles keeps up this play, WVU can go a long way in the tourney. And he won’t have a long college career.

That said, Dok would be cleaning up a lot of this stuff in the paint.
