Kansas vs WVU Round 3....

Let’s see if Malik continues his great play.

Sorry but that’s all I care about in this game

Silvio.

He's the x factor for KU's NCAA hopes. There will be a game where Azubuike (if he even plays) is limited by fouls and Lightfoot ain't gonna get it done vs a legit frontcourt.

Are you suggesting Bill forfeits every subsequent Big 12 tourney if he doesn't think the team gives maximum effort here?Laughing

Nope, I'm sick of other KU posters pissing and moaning that the conference tourney really isn't that big of a deal for KU. I call total bullshit and if KU were to lose tonight, I promise you there will be some KU fans going on about how the Big 12 conference tournament is meaningless. Again, its a losers mentality.

Kansas runs this league, and there have been a lot of other good teams in the Big 12... but WVU is the only consistent contender that's nipping at their heels. Finished 2nd or 3rd the past 3 years, and headed to our 3rd straight Big 12 Championship game.

Big game for us tomorrow.
Remind me of how those last 3 B12t 'ships played out?

Fvckin spot on. I never understood the KU fan who says the Big 12 Tourney doesn’t matter. Buuulll sh*t!!!

Arguing that KU doesn't want it as badly as WV isn't saying that it's meaningless. But it's no more meaningful than other games.

If you think my stance is based on the fact that KU has failed to win it often, you're wrong.

It doesn't prove that you're the league's best and in this case, it likely won't affect their seeding. It's just a fun little event that gives you a chance for one more bragging right.

We play to win every game. Championship game, preseason game, or otherwise.

Winning today would be HUGE for the moral, confidence, and validation. This team needs to go into next week feeling strong, not looking to make up for tanking today’s game.

Win, and win big. Saying today’s game doesn’t matter is absolutely bullshit.

If WVU is smart then Konate touches the ball every possession in the post. Lightfoot has really struggled defensively against bigs who can over power him. WVU can't fall in love with long jumpers. If they play through Konate and attack the rim they should win. Unless KU has one of those crazy games from 3 that they are known to have.

Validation? I don't think losing without their one reliable frontcourt option is going to invalidate them. They proved all they need to over the last 20 games. And in what world would a loss here be tanking? A loss in this game means nothing whatsoever. Take Konate or Carter off the court and see how effective they are.

Every game matters, just not to the same degree.

This is arguably the 3rd least meaningful game since B12 play started (besting only A&M and at OSU).

The ONLY long-term significant impact this game could have on Kansas is injury.

Conference tournaments are huge...for programs that can’t win real championships.

Waiting patiently for you to predict a loss so I can report your azz

Another ref screw job coming. How that Konate dunk wasn’t an and1 says it all.

Young is without a doubt better than Graham. Anyone who says otherwise is a blind homer.

Miles has been shooting the ball really well in the tournament so far. He's picking up where he left off.
