😂 Self/Kansas has been paying for recruits directly going back over a decade. Literally any program could’ve had the same amount of success Kansas has had if they were paying for recruits while everyone else followed the rules too. The fact that they are actually doing better recruiting wise in the NIL era just means that now Kansas boosters are now paying for recruits along with Self and Adidas. You base this on what again? The fact that Adidas paid a player who barely played or contributed for KU, along with another who never played a minute?
Self won a title with the least talented team to ever win it (based on recruiting rankings). There were probably midmajors with more top 100 players in their rotations. If anyone could do that, why haven’t they? And why have coaches that bring in much more talent than Self achieved less?
