IU and UK fans. It's time.

KSR was talking last week about UK being "Kentucky Good" again. Writing off the Covid year, they went year by year and determined that 9 of 11 seasons, UK has been "Kentucky good" under Cal.
Yet, hate bonered clowns like E.F. want to keep saying he 'hasn't done shit' without classes of OAD's. There have been a number of guys at UK that played for Cal that were unexpected OAD's. (SGA, Herro, Teague, Knight, Young, Goodwin to name a few) and to try to slap a 'mediocre' label on Cal like he does is just another hater slinging bullshit. The guy has had to rebuild team rosters almost every year and has done well in 9 of 11 seasons.

I was talking about the last few seasons, goof. Were those results up to "Kentucky Good" standards? Hell, I hope the AD views it the way you do and keeps him around til he croaks.

Oh, so of course, you were timeframing. Even timeframing a timeframe this time. Got it.

....while ignoring the 9 of 11 seasons information.

Good God. You're as annoying as any twat on Rafters. We were talking about his "old" teams. Did you actually read any of the posts you're crying about?

I don't need Kentucky Homer Radio to provide any "information." I have a memory. 2013, 2021, 2022 and 2023 were not up to par. 2018 was iffy, and the 2020 team was way overrated due to a weak schedule. 29th on Kenpom.

^^^^again, more hate boner-fueled opinion. ("iffy," "overrated") Your memory and your 'facts' both suck. I could find a modicum of respect for you if you'd just come out and honestly say that you hate UK. It would justify the endless, pointless, never-ending arguments you throw out here every day.

Selective Memory..

Unlike people like you, I'm consistent with the standards I apply. Losing to Bucknell in the first round was not up to KU standards. And the 2021 team was overrated and overseeded (3 seed but 27th on Kenpom).

I don't hate the Kentucky program or Kentucky people, so I'm not going to admit to that. I get annoyed by the Rafters-like fans like yourself. I'm far from the only one, in case you haven't noticed.

Even your choice of adjectives suck. Being factual isn't being angry.

Oh, you're angry all right.

You should just copy/paste "I know you are but what am I" in every post. It'd have the same effect.

Ending the series pissed me off more than anything else Cal has done. Regional rivalries are great for the sport. I don’t give a shit about who has more to lose or what someone is gaining. It should be a home and home. Every single year.
Yeah, I don't know what possibly could have happened in that 12/2011 game that doesn't happen at every other road game Cal has coached in.

Beating UK right now isn’t as big of a deal as it used to be, but still, UK packs the stands and the alcohol is flowing, so he has to deal with some shit anyway, might as well just play IU and sack up.

....they just showed how far they have fallen. Put it on full display. As if that weren't enough, there was a painting in the trophy case and the popcorn boxes.

Yeah, but those reasons wouldn't be why Cal cancelled the series. It sounds like it got really rough there, but I've never seen video beyond the court storming, which IU fans should never do for a regular season game.

Regarding it being "rough" in TAH that game vs Ky:

I was there and here is what I have learned from the ky fan boards since that time:

Of the 60 Ky fans in attendance:

- 22 were trampled to death by the students storming the court.
- 13 were hurled to their death from the upper non-student balcony
- 114 were spat upon
- 92 were burned with cigarettes
- 263 were physically assaulted
- 9 in wheel chairs were set on fire and pushed onto the floor
- 2,523 were cursed at
- 4,973 had their trucks broken into
- 1 team stripper sprained her ankle.

This information came from the very reliable Ky fan base.

Was there as well, I saw two KY fans in our section, not a single thing was said or thrown at them. The FU chants and the white trash chick that tripped really made them embellish the story. I was offered 2k for my two tickets, I doubt 99% of rupps rafters could afford that. There was roughly 100 uk fans and somehow all of RR have an account of being at the game.

Sounds about right. I mean, Bloomington isn’t that far from Gary, IN.

You left out the halftime show of crucifying a UK fan upside down,

I mean, define "far"?---Its about a 3 hour drive.
Well, a little something about me, until about 10 years ago, it was normal to get a phone call telling me I needed to get in the truck and head 10, 12, 15 hours to get to a job. This was my normal for over 20 years.

Back in the day, that "truck" was a cargo van with low back bucket seats that didn’t recline and were hard vinyl. AC was thee ole 2 windows down at X mph.

So yeah, Bloomington is basically a neighboring city to Bloomington in my book.

It was a joke, though.

We'll just lump Pikeville and Lexington together.
Pikeville??? Is that a dangerous place? Been there a few times, got the t-shirt and… somehow, made it out alive.

Guess it was best I didn’t know it was a dangerous place, but come to think of it, I did see some dudes with slicked back hair, cuffed pants, chuck Taylor's and Marlboro boxes rolled up in their sleeves.

Man, I really need to research these places I go to.
