They should be in. I want to hear the case for Michigan State. They just finished their conference schedule 10-10 with a loss to IU, their 13th loss of the season. They'll have 14 losses by Selection Sunday. 4-8 in Q1 and 5-5 in Q2 games. No way they should be Top 25 in NET. It's obviously a flawed system. Currently projected as an 8 or 9 seed. Izzo always seems to get the benefit of the doubt, even when his teams are terrible. I have never seen another program put so many 12/13/14 loss teams into the dance. 🤔

While I don't necessarily disagree, I also think a lot of 8th place teams in high major conferences would also have a similar glossy record if they were able to play in front of 2800 fans at Evansville on a Tuesday and 2100 at Missouri State on the following Saturday. Hell, Illinois- Chicago drew 1800 on their last Saturday home game of the year.
