Favorite holiday....Not the same with cherished loved ones now gone. But still a wonderful day.

Today we ate with friends....tomorrow having dinner at my sons.

My mom and grandma always kept the traditions alive. A big Thanksgiving was usually used to plan Christmas. All us kids would draw names for present swaps.

They are both gone. I don't much care for the effort needed to get everyone together. Mom didn't give you a choice. So, this year some of the women worked out a date of Dec 11th for combo. No gifts, just finger foods. Oh boy.....

I was out of town visiting my kids and missed this.
