Michigan and Marquette should be out. No way they're in over Wisconsin or Illinois.

Putting Marquette in right now is idiotic. They just lost Saturday, and they lost 4 out of their last 5.

Not to mention we beat both and have more wins than both now.

You still have Michigan and PSU in over Illinois? RollLaugh

Illinois didn't lose a game to them, has a better resume, and finished above them in conference.

It’s a computer rating system (for the 50th time).

Automated systems are above critique? Also, why do you keep mentioning that it's a computer system - who cares?

Probably because people like you keep saying “why do you have so and so here...”

Do you write to Pomeroy and ask him why he has teams rated as such?

Losing to Miami and Mizzou will penalize you. Ho-hum non-con. The Illini also have a lot of close wins.....even to crappy teams they should beat the doors off. Most formula based rankings are going to have them lower because of these.

Yeah, and I don't think that the win margin is necessarily the best indicator of how good a team is. Purdue is a great example of that. Generally a very mediocre team that gets hot occasionally. Miami and Mizzou I'll give you. Win margin is an overrated stat.
