Looking at KU, they've had a mixture of really good freshmen and really good Junior and Senior veterans. They get a 1 seed more times than not and their results aren't as good as UK's the last 10 years. Why?

KU has literally had 10 times as many Juniors and seniors than UK and can't keep up with a school that fields a bunch of freshmen oriented teams every year.

There's a difference between 5* freshmen and guys like Zion and RJ. Zion was a generational player and RJ was transcendent. Last time UK had players like that, they won the title.
