They begged him to shoot that night, and he's a career 39% shooter. Shouldn't be surprised if those go in.

Hell, leave me that wide open and I'll probably hit half of 'em.
I don't disagree, I was just saying to Turinturumbar that Harris had no problem hitting threes against UK and he is and was (last year) a very crafty veteran that finds ways to get open.

I realize he's more of an assist guy (Cal thought that's all he was and never changed that thought, even after Harris showed him different) but he can shoot.
I think he's going to need to shoot.more often this year. Maybe not before the ball cycles, but if it comes back to him, he should shoot if he has a shot. He passes open shots up a lot.

50% from 3 point line is top 1% . Il would have to see it to believe it homie.

He'll probably shoot less this season. Their outside shooting is far better than last year. Plus, I expect the new guards to cut into his minutes.

I probably wouldn't hit 50%, especially since I haven't picked up a ball in awhile. But good shooters hit 80+% in practice, and that was basically practice for Harris. They left him wide open all night.

If Self has shooters to pair with Hunter, who can also shoot, that will he tough to deal with for sure.

I have never seen one fanbase go from high to low and back again so many times as UK with Cal. 😆

I almost want ARKY to win the National title this year just to watch y'all.
I have never liked Calipari, but I hope he does better than the Brigham Young East.

Now that CAL is gone from UK I recognize he has Jayhawk blood and his wife was a KU alum. Big CAL guy here.
I don't know if she actually went to KU. They met when she was an accounting clerk in the athletics office. She was married to Kansas great Nolan Cromwell before that.

You ain't right Della, you just ain't right.

It seems you get more joy out of UK losing than UT winning. That’s some hate.

I'm really more about fun than anything else and y'all are some funny folks when it comes to Cal.

Just for that, I hope UK wins the title, just because I know that would make you madder than a wet hornet.

You've got a brand new coach and a brand new team and you think y'all are going to win the title. Yep, you're a certified UK fan, carry on. :p

Harris had no problems hitting a bunch of crazy threes last year in the Champions classic. Ugh, dude was en fuego. Ugh.
Harris isn’t a great shooter but he will make them if he’s wide open. Many teams have tried the Calipari method of just ignoring him on the three point line and playing 5 on 4 against everyone else. He’s made a couple of those teams pay, but none more than Kentucky last year.

He can shoot, when he’s open. Hes a very good shooter when open, maybe better than most. But he can’t hit the broad side of a barn if you put a hand in his face. He is not a guy who can put up a quick shot or hit a jumper without much breathing room.

And while he can get to the rim for a layup, he’s not a quick guard who can get down the court for transition buckets like Griffen.

Had a brand new coach in 97/98 too, that worked out pretty well.

But I'm not sure why that matters. I'm not saying UK is even sweet 16 good, but crazier things have happened.

I'm just glad to have a coach that will play his best lineup instead of what's best for the NBA draft.

But, if I were you, dearest Della, I would be more concerned with your Vols' ability to score this year. I think UK could sweep the Vol's again.

I can't tell you how excited I am that he chose my beloved Wildcats for his 3 point barrage coming out party.

I've noticed he’s very crafty around the basket, that’s more his game. Well that and assists.

Your noob coach will be paging through this book for clues as Barnes is putting on a master class on CBB.

The university of Caltucky was prime from 2010-2017 . So fun to see former players showing up to Arkansas to support Cal.

Self said he wants 40% or more of their shots to be threes, which is almost unheard of for him.
It seems to be the way the game is being played today. It really spreads the defense out. Tough to defend.
